: While the Church leaders are busy fighting each other, struggling over territories and memberships, over raising the most money, charging the highest speaking fees to visit other churches (on speaking engagement), and no longer propagating the Word and Evangelism; while we have neglected the great commission “go into all nations..” (Mark 16:15), freely did you receive freely give (Mathew 10:8), and focusing on (Luke 10:7) a laborer is worthy of wages: Satan and her agents of (Ephesians 6: 10-18) is building strong network and pulling down Christians, Church members, Church leaders and Christian homes.
THE FLOAT:
The greatest strategy of Satan has been revealed: Satan constructed a long, attractive and enduring float (the kind you will see on Tournament of Roses Parade”), The decoration on the float has never been reviled and may not be reviled for years to come. It is so inviting and pretty that no one passes by that will not stop to see this glanderous float with all its adornments. The most beautiful flowers are carefully and professionally put together in a form that no man has ever seen! Two chieftain luxurious seats adorn the front of the float. Seated at the front of the float are two prominent people – to the left of the float is Satan, in gold plated chieftaincy revolving seat from where he rotates to see and oversee the multitudes in the float. The float stretched back for about one mile. Inside the float, which has upper and lower deck are seated the most prominent men and women in the society. These are physicians, scientists, preachers, bishops, priests, movie stars, politicians, professors, top military officers, educators, in short people of all professions and callings. Something unique about the people on the Float, is that in whichever community the float passes, prominent members of that community will be prominently displayed. The two layers, as I described, are filled to the brim, with many people, while more are joining. In each community, prominent members are placed in strategic location to invite people in that community into the Float. Because of their position in that community, people will joyfully hop unto the Float in order to identify with the Rich and the Famous, not realizing until they enter the Float, that they have been recruited into a kingdom.
To the right of Satan, at the front, stand the most gorgeous Giant of a man, the most beautiful man you can ever imagine. However, this Figure stands head and shoulder over the float, adorned in the most gracious regalia you can ever imagine. He has the tendency of changing to personalities that reflect familiar and famous personality in every community this Float visit (or pass-by). He has his hands stretched out as he gleefully invites passersby to the Float. Because he is a well known personality, with great fame, people are easy to jump unto the Float at his bidding. COME ON IN HE WILL CALL OUT! They are happy to be identified with this nobility. One uniqueness of this figure (that stood on the right of Satan) is that it has a tendency and the charisma to attract both men and women of all works of life and ages.
Lined up along the route of this Float were thousands of destitute people, the hungry, the naked, the dejected and the rejected of the society. They hailed the personalities in the Float and scrambled for food and water, but they are not allowed into the Float, because they are too dirty and downcast to mingle with the rich and famous in the Float. A group of middle class teams were sent to provide food, drinks and snacks to these “rejects”. However, these greedy ones will take the choice food, drinks and choice clothes and pass out crumbs and left over items to the multitude that struggle and fought to have a bite, given their state and hunger –ridden life. The multitude reached out to the bureaucrats on the Float who simply ignored and made fun of their wretchedness.
The Lord caused me to look through the Float. I was able to identify many prominent politicians, movie stars, professors, preachers, and people of all professions that are from this community. I also noticed two people (I am asked to withhold their names); one was my university professor who became a prominent politician, the other was a prominent Entrepreneur known for his inventions in modern technology, both men died many years ago. On seeing me with a Bible in my hand, both men, scrambled to reach out to me, pleading to be helped. As they attempted to leave their seats, their colleagues, pulled them down and insisted they must not leave the Float. They begged to be allowed to leave, unfortunately, during the scuffle, they fell from the top layer to the lower layer, thereby making it even more difficult for them to reach me. As I glanced through the Float, I identified justices, heads of States, attorneys, doctors, inventors, top and prominent businessmen and women. I observed with “shock” that even though “elevated” in the Float, none of the people looked happy- (they had looks on their faces that were ridiculous to behold).
I made attempt to jump to the lower layer of the Float to stop it from moving only to notice that while on the lower Float, the top was still moving, when I tried to reach to the top, the lower one will be moving while the top will stop. At this point I knew I needed help. I cried out to a Pastor friend that just showed up besides the Float to jump in and assist me. I reasoned that with him on the lower layer and I on the upper layer we can stop that Section of the Float from moving along with the from sections. The Pastor interjected that he does not see how the Float will stop, he rather choose to preach to the multitude lining up the route along the Float.
At this point, Satan noticed the Bible in my hand, as he sprung around in his rolling seat, and noticed my attempt to stop the Float and preach Jesus to the people. He quickly asked his lieutenant, by his right side, (that tall beautiful Giant) who I was and why the Float had to take this route? As Satan tried to distract me and tell me why I should rather join my Pastor friend to preach to the masses, the Spirit of the Lord, advised me to use the pole connecting the top and bottom layers of the Float as a pivot to stand from the bottom to the top of the Float.
Using the pole as instructed, I was able to stand between the lower and the upper levels of the Float. Suddenly the Float from that section all the way to the back stopped while the front (with Satan and the Giant) moved on. I immediately held up the Bible and declared the Redemption Power in the Name of Jesus and the Power in the Blood of Jesus for Redemption. As I ministered Jesus to the people, Satan urged his team to move on and forget those left behind. The thousands who lined the route also stood up at the mention of the Name of Jesus and were hungry to learn more about The Savior of the World. I taught that Jesus is the Only Way to Salvation, the Truth and The Life, that No one goes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6). Many of the multitude burst into tears as the Holy Spirit convicted them of sin and impending judgment. Many renounced sin, their sinful nature and gave their lives to Jesus. Many also received Holy Ghost Baptism on the spot.
The Bible records (Luke 10:2), the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Take a moment and ask yourself if you are called of the Lord as a laborer or a sponsor of laborers. Paul planted, Apollos watered and God gave the increase (1Corinthians 3:6-8). The key question is: Are you, your family, your ministry involved in Evangelism? When was the last time you told someone about Jesus Christ? The Word records that if you deny me before men (Mathew 10:33), I will deny you before my father. (Ecclesiastes 10:7) records, ”I have seen servants on horseback and princes on foot…God forbid bad things! In (Psalm 37:25), the Words declare “I have not seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread”. Why is the Church of God interested in internal war with each other or among their members? Is Christ divided? What is our Agenda as the Body of Christ?
Big building and thousands of memberships are not a panacea that the Holy Spirit dwell in most of our Churches. (Romans 12:3-8) the Body of Christ is bestowed with many gifts for Service! (1) to God, which speaks of our vertical relationship with God and (2) humans (horizontal relationship with one another).
Satan runs an organized government and has perfected his Three major and Only functions it has been doing since he became the king of this world (time immemorial), TO KILL, TO STEAL AND TO DESTROY. (John 10:10), but unfortunately, we recite this everyday and yet fall victim to his antics. The Bible records that (Ephesians 6:12-18), we wrestle not with flesh and blood… Our Champion Jesus says “He has come to give us life…more abundantly” ( John 10:10b). What are you doing with this free abundant life? Strife, contentions, notoriety, immorality, selfishness, …are pervading this society while the Church of God is sleeping and full of animosity.
Are you in the Float, by the wayside, along the route of the Float or standing in the crowd? Remember that Satan moved on with a portion of the Float, fully loaded with perishing souls. That Float is coming to your country, State, community, family. Will you join the Float with those who have refused the Gospel of Jesus or will you join the Army of Christ? The choice is yours and Now! There are no two ways, sir, Madam. There is no middle way when you die: it is either heaven or hell fire!
Please understand that because of the increased Media and technological development, the Gospel is reaching many more nations, countries, cities than ever before. The Gospel has basically reached every nook and corner of the world so “Behold He Comes!” The Bible records that, “this Gospel shall be preached all over the world and …(Mathew 24:14). Are you in the number counted to be saved. Are you concerned about perishing souls? DECLARE YOUR STAND TODAY! You cannot be look-warm (Revelation 3:16). Declare Jesus as the Lord and savior of your life today! Tomorrow may be too late.
