Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation.
We honor the precious lives that were lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the courageous firefighters, police officers, first responders, military personnel, and ordinary citizens who demonstrated extraordinary bravery.
On that day, America experienced unimaginable tragedy, but we also witnessed incredible courage, compassion, sacrifice, faith, and unity. In one of our darkest hours, people reached for one another, prayed together, served together, and stood together.
Twenty-five years later, we still remember.
May we never forget those who left home that morning and never returned. May we never forget the heroes who ran toward danger to save others. May we continue praying for the families who carry their memories.
And may we remember that even in moments of great darkness, God remains our refuge and strength.
