About the Islamic Development Center:
Established in 1995 at 24436 Webster Avenue in Moreno Valley, IDC represents the culmination of the collective efforts born out of the leadership of Elijah Muhammad in the Nation of Islam and forged through the leadership of his son, Imam W. Deen Mohammed who provided a balanced and social understanding that had long been missing within religion. We now stand

According to the IWDM Conveners of Imams, on the thirtieth night of Sha'ban, there have been NO confirmed naked eye moon sighting reports in the continental USA.

As a result, the first night of Ramadan will start tomorrow (Wednesday) evening, with the first day of fasting on Thursday, February 19th.

Join us for the Linda Reese Harvey Youth Leadership Academy Workshop on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm, located at 2900 Adams Street, Suite C13, Riverside, CA 92504.

This engaging event will focus on “How to Navigate & Survive Police Encounters, Financial Literacy & Business, and Leadership Skills.” The workshop will also present academic scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting community-minded students pursuing Associate’s or Bachelor’s degrees at accredited institutions. Scholarship applications are due by January 1, 2026, and should be submitted to [email protected].

Awards include the following:

Linda Reese Memorial Scholarship ($3,500)
Dr. Aquil Basheer Memorial Scholarship ($2,000)
Dr. E.M. Abdulmumin Memorial Scholarship ($2,000)
