Hebrews 6:19 says: "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."

An anchor doesn't remove the storm.
It doesn't stop the wind.
It doesn't calm the waves.

What it does is keep the ship from drifting when everything around it is being tossed about.

That's biblical hope.

Not wishful thinking.
Not pretending everything is okay.
Not confidence in our circumstances.
Hope is confidence in the King.

It's the settled assurance that no matter what storms come, no matter how uncertain life becomes, God is faithful, Jesus reigns, and the story is still moving toward His promised future.
