What an incredible Father’s Day! 🏎️✨

We had an absolute blast at Local Point Church's 2nd Annual Father's Day Car Show, and we couldn't have asked for a better turnout. Here is a quick recap of the day:

🚗 80+ Stunning Cars: From classic muscle to modern beauties, the lineup was incredible.

🤝 500+ Amazing People: Thank you to everyone who came out, chatted, and shared their passion for cars.

🍔 Fuel for the Crowd: We passed out tons of free burgers and hot dogs to keep everyone fueled up.

🙂 Family Fun: From the kids checking out the engines to the grandparents reminiscing, it was the perfect family day.

Free Indeed. 🕊️

Today, we pause to honor Juneteenth—a pivotal day in our nation’s history marking June 19, 1865, when the delayed news of liberation finally reached the enslaved people in Galveston, Texas.

As a church family, we look back with solemn remembrance at the painful history of slavery, and we celebrate with deep joy the breaking of those chains. We recognize that the pursuit of biblical justice, equality, and liberty for all image-bearers of God is central to the heart of the Father.

May we continue to stand together, love deeply, and walk in the freedom Christ has called us to.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." — John 8:36

Made New: The Doctrine of Salvation (Pt. 2) ✨

Salvation isn’t a self-help project; it’s a total transformation. We don’t earn a new life by trying harder. We receive it by drawing closer to Jesus.

From the moment we say "yes" to Him to the day we are made perfect in eternity, God is at work in us.

Conversion: New life has to be received.

Justification: It isn't earned, it’s a gift.

Sanctification: It’s not about trying harder; it’s about growing closer.

Glorification: Made new in life, made perfect in eternity.
