From Pastor Johns desk...
My letter is to sinners and saints. Friends I pray that this Christmas we all will take time and thank about what Christmas is really about. Remember the first six letters in Christmas is Christ. Our nation must come back to a nation of repentance and prayer and making Jesus our first love again. This time of year, can be a wonderful time of remembering family, exchanging gifts and having meals and for others it can be a time of grief from the loss of a loved one or stress from trying to juggle all life's problems and high cost of living. Please join me and Becky this season of putting Christ back in Christmas and remembering our neighbors who may be suffering, grieving and just need someone to pray for them and be kind to them. We want to take this time to tell each of you we love you and are here for you anytime you need us just call, text or email. We are never to busy to stop and listen ,pray for you and I invite anyone that is lonely, and without family you are welcome to come visit and have Christmas meal with us. Simply put we care about you. And want you to know we are here for you. From our hearts we pray each of you will have a very Merry Christmas. And a prosperous New Year. This year join us by putting Christ back in the center of Christmas. Let us remember the price Jesus paid at the cross for all our sins, that He laid down His life for us that we might have life. Let's remember the love of our heavenly Father that He gave His only begotten Son, that His blood covers our sin and He paid our sin debt in full at the Cross. So to sinner and saint we are here for you, we care about you, and you are loved. Your friends pastor John and Becky

From Pastor John...

I have been silent for awhile now ,I have been in the presence of God seeking the face of our savior Jesus Christ. I have placed my ear to His heart, because without Jesus I am nothing. We have been praying for our world and the leaders of our nation, I want to be a better pastor and friend to sinners and saints. I have asked the Lord, what is it that His body must do.. and He clearly showed me ,we must all repent, and come back to our first love . The Bible tells us the love of God cast out all fear. It does not say some fear but ALL fear. I have noticed in the past few months when some Christians have spoke to me it was about fear. I said Lord why are your people bound with fear. He said to me that their love walk is not right. He said some are putting their wants and desires before me, they think material things will make them content. Some are putting relationships such as family members or trying to fill their loneliness with relationships. And they have gotten their eyes off me and onto things of this world. Friends the Bible says clearly, we are in the world but not of the world, be not partakers of the world or worldly things. Romans 12:2. The perfect love of God casteth out all fear. 1 John 4:18. Today we take communion and invite you all to take communion with us. What I believe God is calling us to do is for America to do a corporate repentance, all pastors, leaders and Christians . We need to get on our face before God and ask Him to get us back on course with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and forgive us for anyway we have gotten out of His will. And pray the prayer Jesus taught us to pray...Matthew 6: 9-13. Praying His will be done in our lives and over our families will get us back on that narrow path that leads to eternal life. Me and Becky love each of you, we are here for you and we will pray for you and help you anyway we can, we want you to know you are not alone. We have been involved in spiritual warfare for a long time now and we love all people, sinners and the saints. Call us or email anytime you need to. We are never to busy , please pray for us as well that we will stay in the center of Gods will, we pray you all have a very Merry Christmas, all our love and blessings to each of you, have a Jesus filled year. All of our love Pastor John.

This is a great prayer to pray over yourself and family each day...
Ephesians 1: 16,17,18,19

Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. Amen

From pastor John's desk...

Devotional passage -Psalm 90:1-12

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalm 90:12

The saying, " time flies" takes on a new meaning, as we age. When I was a child, time seemed to creep along. Now every year seems to pass with greater speed than the one before. As we age, we learn to treasure every moment God has given to us.
Psalm 90, ascribed to Moses, reveals our God as timeless. Our God, who formed the universe out of nothing, a thousand days and one day are no different. We, on the other hand, live lives that seem momentary by comparison. In light of this reality, Moses pleaded with God, "teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." Moses had wisely learned what we should all learn: the short time we have on this earth is precious. Though he was certainly not perfect , he had lived a life of obedience to God. Moses life of 120 years still impacts us today.
Though our lives on this earth are fleeting, they have eternal value. The shortness of our lives should not discourage us but motivate us to live life well. We should use the precious time we have to live a life that glorifies our Creator who has redeemed us by the blood of His Son.

Father, thank you for my life. Teach me to number my days and live a life that glorifies You.

From Becky's corner....

God misses His time with us...the main thing I recognized from seeing the expression of love and deep hurt on Jesus's face is that He didn't want one ounce of our time lost in meeting with Him. I saw how much He desires our fellowship ,more than we can ever desire His. You see He has a deeper capacity to love us and spend time with us than we do Him. If you have slacked up with your prayer time with the Lord, He misses His time with You ! He's saying to you now, I miss My time with you ! In ( John 14:18 ) it says, I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you. The Holy Spirit is always with us here on earth. Right before this scripture Jesus mentions that He would send us another comforter, which was the Holy Spirit. In this verse, Jesus also mentions that He himself would come personally to us ! Not only would the Holy
Spirit comfort us but He too, wouldn't leave us comfortless. Jesus promises to join the Holy Spirit on earth by also coming to comfort us. Jesus promises here that He would come to us, my friends, Oh how wonderful. You can expect a face to face visit from the Lord through this promise alone. That is what He does when we pray and commune with Him- only we are not aware at the time of how close He really is during our prayers. Jesus actually comes to us in prayer.
We really don't believe or take literally what the Lord is saying when He said, "Seek ye My face" (Psalm 27:8) ( 1 Chron16:11). Ask yourself " why would the Lord tell us to seek His face if it meant that we couldn't find it." We have allowed the one scripture that says ..No man can see My face and live, we've completely thrown out or overlooked other scripture like..."Seek my face". ( Exodus 33:20). We don't take this literally like we should, but God means just what He says, Jesus said, " seek and ye shall find " (Matt 7:7) If you seek the face of the Lord , you will find it. The Lord makes His face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee and give thee peace. (Numbers 6:25-26.) ( Proverbs 16:15) In the light of the Kings countenance is life and His favor is a cloud of the latter rain. (Psalm 4:6) Lord, lift Thou up the light of Thy countenance upon us.( Psalm 42:5) Hope thou in God ,for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance. You see in the scriptures that it says the Lords countenance or face helps us. This is why the psalmist would ask the Lord to make His face shine ,smile or be favorable to us or for Him to lift up the light of His countenance upon us.
Why does God hide His face from us. ( Psalm 88:14) Why hidest Thou Thy face from me ?
David wanted to know why the Lord hid His face from Him at times. He knew the power of seeing the Lord's face. David knew the power of a face to face relationship with the Lord . There are several reasons the Lord mentions that explains why He hides His face from us. One of the reasons is that we offend Him in some serious way. The biggest reason from the time of Adam has been simply because of our sin.
( Ezekiel 7:22) My face will I turn also from thee , and thy shall pollute My secret place ,for the robbers shall enter into it and defile it. Also read ( Ezekiel 39:23-24) ( Jeremiah 33:5) .
When Moses asked to see His glory , God responded to him that He would allow Moses to see His back parts ,but not His face ( Exodus 33:18-23). But God gave Moses a requirement to meet with Him and be ready in the morning and come up in the morning unto mount Sanai ,and present thyself there to Me in the top of the mount. (Exodus 34:2) Wow, Moses says to God," I want to see your glory." God tells Moses he will have to meet God in the early morning . David the psalmist said, "Early will I seek thee, to see thy power and Thy glory ,so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. (Psalm 63:1-2) God's power and glory are demonstrated and given in the morning times. I have realized that everything that God does that is significant is done early in the morning when He visits man on earth.

From Becky's corner....Our hope in America is to stand with Israel.
Lets look at Jeremiah 6:16-17

Jeremiah 6:16..Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways , and see ,and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein ,and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said ,We will not walk therein. 17. Also I set watchman over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

In Jeremiah 6:16 the prophet Jeremiah is speaking to the people of Judah, urging them to turn away from their sinful ways and follow the "ancient paths and the "good way" in order to find rest for their souls. What is the meaning of Jer. 6 :16...Jeremiah asks the people to remember the old traditions of faith and obedience . By returning to those ancient paths and walking in them so they could find rest.
This is what He is saying.. Stand at the crossroads and look ,ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good is and walk in it. The Lord defines the ancient paths as the good way, His way, what He has instructed through His Word, His character, and His life.
In Jeremiah 6:17 God addresses the people of Judah ,expressing the disappointment with their refusal to heed the warnings of His prophets. And I set watchmen over you ,saying, listen to the sound of the trumpet. But they said , We will not listen. The sound of the trumpet ought to have penetrated into their minds more than anything else for two reasons.....because it was louder than any voice of man, if the city was in danger of an attack the watchmen would then command that the trumpet be blown to warn the people.
Some of the characteristics of the old paths...
1. They are plain and they are unchanging, God's path like himself ,are the same yesterday, today and forever.
2. They are paths of righteousness ( Psalms 23:3)
3. They are paths of mercy ( Psalms 25: 10)
4. They are paths of plenty ( Psalms 65:11)
5. They are paths of life (Proverbs 2:19)
6. They are paths of peace ( Proverbs 3:17)
7. They are His paths ( Isaiah 2:3)
How do we find these paths...
1. By standing . How hard is it to stop and stand still and think and search.
2.By seeing. Taste and see that the Lord is good.
3. By asking. Ask, and ye shall receive.
4. By walking. walk by faith.
5. The promise to those who obey. "Rest"

In conclusion... We have choices to make about how we want to get to where we are going. Its like traveling to a new area, we use our gps for directions. Often it will lead us on a path we have never been on and it ends up taking longer than if we had taken the route we seeked after praying about it. Sometimes we don't pay attention and get in a difficult situation. Just this past week me and pastor John made a trip to Burnsville NC. About two hours away and I used my gps for directions. It ended up taking us on the Blue Ridge parkway ,which we always enjoy, but it was curvy and it was raining so we had to drive slower. It took me on a road that I was sure I was lost so I turned around and came back to a store and got directions from the lady there. We finally did find our destination and pastor told me ,if we had taken the route we knew we would have saved about 30 minutes. I knew he was right. One thing I've learned that the gps doesnt work as well in the mountains.

Love you all..Becky

From Pastor Johns' desk.....
2 Corinthians 12:7

Paul said I have a thorn in my flesh in 2 Cor. 12:7. The apostle Paul writes that he has been given a thorn in the flesh because of the abundance of the revelations he had received. satan afflicted Paul with a thorn in his flesh because satan was alarmed by the great progress the apostle was making with the gospel and the influence he was having on God's people by the revelation of his teaching that the Holy Spirit had shown him. The devil wanted to pull down this great man of God and stop the revelation of Paul's teaching. So satan attacked Paul with a thorn in his flesh. The word thorn in the greek word is described as a dangerously sharp spiked instrument or tool. This word thorn was also used to describe the stake on which an enemys head was stuck after being decapitated. This means the severity of Paul's attack was very painful. satans plan was to attack Paul with such force that it would immobilize him and make it impossible for Paul to complete his assignment God had given him. Friends of God and followers of Christ think it not strange when you face fiery trials. ( 1 Peter 4:12-19)
Paul had seen into the spirit realm on many occasions and had been given revelation from God. ( 2 Cor.12:7). satans plan was to stop Paul's influence and teaching of the Word of God to the people. The enemies plan is to stop revelation of the Word of God. Friends I am pastor John and have been preaching and teaching the Word of God for over 40 years. I have studied the Word of God and the Holy Spirit has been my teacher. He has given me full revelation of the Word of God. The reason I am telling you this I to have been severely attacked by the enemy as Paul was. There is a cost to pay for the anointing of God. Jesus said my sheep hear my voice ,a stranger they will not follow, they pick up their cross and follow me daily. ( John 10:4-5).The cross represents dying to the flesh. In the last few years I have paid a heavy price to follow Jesus. My brother was killed when hit by a car, my daughter died from an overdose of fentanyl , I have had numerous eye surgeries and two years ago had to have my foot amputated , I now wear a prosthetic. . But I count it all dung for the glory of God. (Philippians 3:8). I assure you afflictions will come ( Psalms 34:19) but remember greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.( 1 John 4:4) Many of God's people have been attacked and wounded, simply because we are soldiers in the army of God. Through all my afflictions I lift my hands to my heavenly Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I praise Him with every ounce of my strength. Because I can do all things and so can you through Christ which strengthens us. He is our healer, our strength ,He is our light in a dark storm. I encourage each of you today ,let us all lift up Jesus and thank Him for what He did at the cross for us. You have more power in you than you realize. It is the power of our Lord Jesus Christ who called Lazarus back to life out of the tomb of death. So today lets rise together in the name of Jesus Christ and complete the assignment He has given us. Me and my wife Becky have dedicated our lives to prayer for all people and helping others. Our purpose and assignment is to restore our brothers and sisters in Christ and encourage them to get back up and pull out their two edged swords ,which is the Word of God, and plead the blood of Jesus over their lives. For we overcome satan by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony ( Revelation 12:11). We are here to pray for you ...call, text or email us that we may reach the throne room of God with our prayers. Our phone number...828 527 3941. Look forward to hearing from you. with all our love .. Pastor John Johnson

From Becky's corner......

We serve a God with so much grace and compassion for us, especially in times of pain and need. Out of God's amazing love for us, His heart breaks when His children suffer. The first chapter of the gospel Mark records Jesus healing a man with leprosy. It said that Jesus being moved with compassion reached out and touched the man healing him immediately. God sees us in our pain and suffering with that same compassion while we sometimes don't know what to pray for when it comes to our need for healing. The Psalms are a great place to start. They were written by people who, much like us, had struggles that caused them to cry out to God. Hopefully these Psalms and prayers will bring comfort and hope as you set your afflictions before the Lord.
Father, you know we get tired and burdened, Lord, you give us the courage to keep praying. May we feel your presence right now. I ask God for our complete restoration as I know you can. I also ask that you help us to pursue our Healer over our healing. Thank you Lord!
