The United Women in Faith from Moose Lake Methodist Church presented a check for $600 to Mary Carlson for the Moose Lake Area Food Shelf on Tuesday August 18, 2026. This was the 3rd annual ice cream cone Agate Days event held by the Methodist Church to raise much needed funds for the Moose Lake Area Food Shelf. Thank you to those who stopped by the Moose Lake Methodist Church during Agate Days and Art in The Park to enjoy an ice cream cone and make a free will donation to the Food Shelf. You may have noticed some exciting activity has been happening at Moose Lake Methodist Church! A huge thank you to the Challenge Incarceration Program of Willow River & the amazing crews & staff that have worked so hard to help us get much needed projects done! What an amazing program & asset to our area! Check out these pictures of their hard work! They also helped out with many inside tasks & garden chores as well! ☕️ As I sit in a local coffee shop preparing this Sunday’s sermon, I’m finally taking a deep breath after the hustle and bustle of the holiday weekend.
Life has a way of keeping us busy, doesn’t it? But it got me wondering…
Are we busy chasing our own plans, or are we living into God’s plan for our lives?
Do we fill our calendars so full that we miss the people, moments, and opportunities that matter most?
This Sunday we’ll dive into Genesis 37: Joseph’s Dreams and explore what it means to trust God’s purpose, even when life doesn’t unfold the way we expect.

Okay all, it's time for some Fun! On Saturday, June 20th our Kiwanis Club will be hosting our annual Fly-In/Drive-In Pancake Breakfast. There will be great food, fun conversation, and weather-permitting, all those cool planes and helicopters. There's even opportunities for plane rides and a tour of the Life-Flight Helicopter. Fun for people of all ages!
