Another story from Dr Manno in Haiti. This 13 year old Louis is a diabetic and rode for 1 1/2 hours on the back of motorcycle to get to Sante 2000 Clinic to get help with her diabetes from Dr Manno. Once again due to YOUR support to MMM he was able to provide her medications for her diabetes free of charge. Many people hear about Dr Manno Diabetic Clinic and come from a long distance to get his expert care. Thank you for your support.

Even though Ministry in Medical Missions (MMM) team has not been able to go to Haiti due to civil unrest and COVID, we continue to support the work Dr Emmanuel Mareus (Dr Manno) does at his Sante 2000 Clinic. This is a boy we met at a mobile clinic many years ago and his mother tried to explain his "shaking" which took place several times a day. Turns out he has seizures and we were able to support the family with medications to control the seizures. He and his mother continue to go to Sante 2000 Clinic and get their medications through agape (free) care/meds due to your financial support to MMM. Thought you would enjoy the story.

The virus has been slow to hit the country. But as laid-off Haitians return from hard-hit areas, doctors are preparing furiously for an outbreak they fear will strain the nation’s threadbare health care system.

I don't understand why this is not in the news. Haiti is in a Humanitarian Crisis! Dr. Emmanuel Mareus (Dr. Manno) said today "this (protest and undrest for this long) has never happened in the history of Haiti'. "It can not stay this way!". Dr. Manno on his way back from Cap Haitan to Limbe met a very large baricade and the only reason he was allowed through was because his father had been born in that neighborhood. No other vehicles or people were allowed through. Our medical trip to Haiti in January has been cancelled due to safety reasons. Please continue to pray for the people of Haiti. These pictures were sent to me from one of our team members in Haiti and taken around the PAP area.

Our Ministry in Medical Team is sad to announce that our trip this year to Haiti has has been completely cancelled due to multiple unsafe circumstances. However, I am excited to share that Dr. Manno will once again be coming to MN for a month of speaking locally and fundraising for his clinic. He will again run Grandma's Half Marathon in Duluth to fund a solar system for his clinic. Look for further detail soon.
