Sighisoara, Romania. Who was born in this house? Vlad Dracul, a real life Romanian hero. No kidding. He successfully defended against the Ottoman Empire. But he was known for his cruelty to enemies and those he mistrusted, thus the nickname Vlad the Impailer. Dracula was later based on him.
