Got to serve a few different Mississippi Delta Community College groups over the last week or so! Thank you to Valley Park Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Indianola for providing meals for our MDCC Choirs and our RA’s! Pray for us as we help students move in today!

Friday was the last day of our summer missionaries being with us for the summer. This is the second summer since we began our partnership with the DSU and MDCC Baptist Student Unions to bring college students from across the state of Mississippi to spend the summer in the Mississippi delta to help us labor for gospel advancement here. This team developed a missional analysis on Shaw, MS to contribute to our vision to see more healthy churches and ministry entities in regions throughout the Mississippi delta. Renovate Church’s vision is cultural transformation in the delta, which can only be accomplished by applying the gospel of Jesus Christ to it, and this team’s hard work and love for the people of our community contributed to that!
A special thank you to the BSUs (Delta State BSU and MDCC Baptist Student Union) and Mississippi Baptist Convention Board for the crucial part in this summer ministry and for allowing our church to be a part of it!

We are incredibly grateful for our local churches who desire to make an impact on our local campus. Special thanks to those who showed up to our Board Meeting last week and those who have contributed in countless ways over the last school year. Praying with expectation over the next school year!
