It was a great Homecoming week! Special thanks to Eastside Baptist Church of Belzoni and Pastor Nick Hodges for providing a meal and bringing the word last week for our baseball team Bible study! We also enjoyed a time in the Word and a meal together with our Mississippi Delta Community College last Wednesday, in the midst of Homecoming Festivities. Join us for Food For Thought today!

We had a great evening worshipping with our Mississippi Delta Community College last night! 🗣️Shoutout to our guys who played the Human Horseshoe game!

Neshun Holmes led us in praises and Brian Crawford came to town to bring the Word from Matthew 6:5-15 - “Pray Like Jesus”

Key Point: Deeper Fellowship with God is found in Christ-informed motivations (Matt. 6:5-8 - God is the reward, not man’s praise) and a Christ-Informed model (Matt. 6:9-15)

Because of Jesus’ finished work, we can pray:

- in relationship‼️
- For His Glory 🔥
- For His Kingdom 👑
- For God’s desires over my own 🙏
- For our provision 🍽️
- For protection ⚔️
- For His mercy 🙌

We’d love for you to join us today for lunch as we look at prayer together again from Philippians 4!

Thank you to Renovate Church Cleveland for providing the 🍔 & 🌭 for our Mississippi Delta Community College students yesterday at Food for Thought, and we also appreciate the message delivered by Pastor Wesley Smith as we continued studying the prayers of Paul‼️

“And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬

We had a great time in worship and fellowship together at Mississippi Baptist Convention Board Collegiate Ministry Fall Conference with Delta State BSU this past weekend!

God is at work in these students lives! Would you pray for us as we journey together to know Christ and make Christ known?

Thank you Victory Temple Baptist Church for providing the meal for our Mississippi Delta Community College this week and to Pastor Eddie Jones for sharing the message from Philippians 1:3-6 as we continue looking at the prayers of Paul!

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

We are excited about our College Student Conference with Mississippi Baptist Convention Board Collegiate Ministry this weekend and we ask for your prayers as we go!
