ABOUT JIMMY SWOGGER (pictured at right):
Pastor Jimmy Swogger is currently the lead pastor of Oakland Church of God in Distant, Pennsylvania. He has been on staff with the church for 36 years, serving the first 8 years as minister of music and youth pastor, and then becoming the lead pastor. Before entering full-time pastoral ministry, Jimmy traveled for 11 years in concert ministry, including concerts, radio, and television appearances. He was a regular on the Christian worship hour with Dr. Lillie McCutcheon. He’s been the national anthem singer for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Rays, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jimmy‘s music ministry has enabled him to continue to minister across the country, and even in foreign countries. His music ministry has allowed him to work with churches, conventions, colleges, six past Presidents and First Ladies, Super Bowl quarterbacks, national organizations, and more. Along with his music ministry, he is a ventriloquist. This unique ministry has allowed him to serve as a speaker for revivals, retreats, camp meetings, and as a motivational speaker.
Jimmy has been blessed with a wonderful family: his lovely wife Tammy, for 38 years; a son, Alex; and a dog named Coco.
