Who has your mind? 👀

We’re constantly being shaped by something—news, social media, politics, culture, our experiences, our fears, even the voices we trust.

But as followers of Jesus, we have to pause and ask:

Who taught me to believe this?
Is it actually true?
And most importantly… does it look like Jesus?

Before we react, defend, or take a side, discipleship asks us to stop and ask: “What did Jesus say?”

Because what governs your mind will eventually show up in the way you live, love, and respond.

Sometimes the dark feels easier.

In the dark, we don't have to see everything. We don't have to confront everything. We can stay comfortable with what we've always known.

But Jesus didn't call us to stay in the dark. He came to bring us into the light—and into the freedom that comes with seeing ourselves and our lives differently.

The question is: Are you willing to let the light in?

Yesterday was a day we’ll never forget. 🙌🏽💦

We celebrated new life in Christ as we witnessed our very first mass baptism at Higher Purpose Church!

Baptism is more than a moment—it’s a public declaration that the old life is behind us and we are stepping into the new life Jesus has called us to. What a beautiful picture of the transformation we’ve been talking about throughout our Graduation Day series.

We also closed out Senior Year of Faith with a powerful reminder: Jesus doesn't just want to change our circumstances—He wants to transform us from the inside out.

And yesterday, we got to see that transformation on display. ❤️

To everyone who took that step of faith and was baptized: we celebrate you, we’re proud of you, and we’re honored to walk alongside you!

Here's to new beginnings, deeper faith, and lives transformed by Jesus.

This is what church is about. This is what new life looks like.

“The only way you're really going to fail is if you quit.”

There will be moments when you get it wrong. There will be setbacks, disappointments, and seasons when you wonder if you're really making progress.

But an F doesn't have to be the end of the story. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep pressing forward.

God is still working in you—and there's another level ahead. 🙏🏽
