MAKE ROOM FOR THE OIL

“Go, borrow thee vessels abroad…even empty vessels; borrow not a few.” — 2 Kings 4:3

The oil kept flowing as long as there was an empty vessel available. The problem was never a shortage of oil—it was a shortage of room.

Sometimes we ask God to fill us while our hearts are already crowded with worry, bitterness, distractions, pride, and the cares of life.

Today, make room for Him.

Empty yourself before the Lord and pray, “God, remove anything in me that is keeping me from receiving more of You. Fill me fresh with Your Spirit.”

God hasn’t run out of grace. He hasn’t run out of power. He hasn’t run out of anointing.

The oil is still flowing. Make room.

“Be filled with the Spirit.” — Ephesians 5:18

Don’t just read this and move on. Stop for a few minutes today. Put the distractions away, get alone with God, and ask Him to search your heart. Surrender whatever He puts His finger on.

Then lift your hands and pray:

“Lord, here is my vessel. Empty me of anything that doesn’t belong and fill me again with Your Holy Spirit. I don’t want just enough of You to get by—I want to overflow.”

Make room today. Come empty. Come hungry. And let God fill you again.

Have a good week love you all. Pastor Donnie

DIG THE WELLS AGAIN

“And Isaac digged again the wells of water…” — Genesis 26:18

The enemy had filled Abraham’s wells with dirt, but the water was still there. The source had never dried up—it was simply covered.

Sometimes life does the same thing to us. Disappointment, hurt, busyness, weariness, and discouragement can slowly fill the places where God once flowed freely.

Maybe you don’t need a new well. Maybe it’s time to dig again.

Pray again.
Worship again.
Open His Word again.
Believe again.
Seek His presence again.

Don’t mistake a clogged well for a dry source. God hasn’t changed, and His presence hasn’t run dry.

Pick up your shovel and dig again. There’s still water in the well! 💧

Prayer: Lord, remove anything that has hindered Your flow in my life. Renew my hunger, restore my joy, and let the living water flow through me again. Amen.

A River Whose Streams Make Glad

“There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God…” — Psalm 46:4

Psalm 46 describes a world that is shaking—mountains moving, waters roaring, and nations raging. Yet right in the middle of all that trouble, the Bible declares:

“There is a river.”

What a promise! Your circumstances may be shaking, but God’s presence hasn’t changed. You may be tired, discouraged, or walking through a dry season, but the river is still flowing.

Jesus said, “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” (John 7:37)

There is refreshing in His presence. There is strength for the weary. There is joy for the discouraged. And according to Ezekiel 47:9, “every thing shall live whither the river cometh.”

So today, don’t live spiritually thirsty. Get back into His presence. Pray again. Worship again. Open His Word again. Let the Holy Spirit refresh your soul.

The world may be shaking, but there is still a river!
