MAKE ROOM FOR THE OIL
“Go, borrow thee vessels abroad…even empty vessels; borrow not a few.” — 2 Kings 4:3
The oil kept flowing as long as there was an empty vessel available. The problem was never a shortage of oil—it was a shortage of room.
Sometimes we ask God to fill us while our hearts are already crowded with worry, bitterness, distractions, pride, and the cares of life.
Today, make room for Him.
Empty yourself before the Lord and pray, “God, remove anything in me that is keeping me from receiving more of You. Fill me fresh with Your Spirit.”
God hasn’t run out of grace. He hasn’t run out of power. He hasn’t run out of anointing.
The oil is still flowing. Make room.
“Be filled with the Spirit.” — Ephesians 5:18
Don’t just read this and move on. Stop for a few minutes today. Put the distractions away, get alone with God, and ask Him to search your heart. Surrender whatever He puts His finger on.
Then lift your hands and pray:
“Lord, here is my vessel. Empty me of anything that doesn’t belong and fill me again with Your Holy Spirit. I don’t want just enough of You to get by—I want to overflow.”
Make room today. Come empty. Come hungry. And let God fill you again.
Have a good week love you all. Pastor Donnie
