Youth group news🗨
Pastor Vern and I know you and your families are getting back in the routine of school, last minute vacations, and of course back to school shopping!

Youth Meetings will start back up for Rivers and Seas (Middle and High school) on September 4th.
Going forward we will meet the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 4pm.

Cherokee, Living Waters Lutheran Church Mission Trip. We were welcomed with a delicious native meal from Lisa and some of the ladies. Learned culture from Pastor Jack and worked in the pantry this morning that serves several counties. ❤💛🖤🤍

Rivers and Seas Youth TOMORROW MORNING!🌞

-Upcoming Cherokee trip

-Youth for Rivers and Seas on Sundays at 4pm starting back in the Fall. 1st and 3rd Sundays.

-Alino's Pizza 🍕 August 7th at 5pm to plan with Faith Formation and Youth.

Middle and High school youth

Come GLEAN with us on Wednesday, July 27th!🍅

Farm to Table...come experience how crops are picked, transported to food banks/pantries, and then distributed for others to eat. It's a great experience for all!
We'll be gleaning tomatoes at Correll Farm in Cleveland (Rowan County), NC.

Please meet at church at 7am. Depending on how many are coming, we may need a volunteer to drive another vehicle.

▪︎Please bring a water bottle and wear closed toe shoes.
▪︎If you need volunteer hours, please bring your form for either Pastor Vern or myself to sign.

We'll join another church youth group who are here out of state. This is a day of service for them.

Afterwards, we'll go to Lancaster’s in Mooresville for lunch. Yummy! Please bring money to cover your lunch.

Cherokee/ Living Waters Lutheran Church Mission Trip
August 5th-6th Middle/ High Youth

We will leave at 2pm(unless I can get off work early)
Come back on 6th after tubing.

Who wants to go stay at Living Waters Lutheran Church, eat Indian tacos and native foods! Listen to Pastor Jack Russell tell about Cherokee culture and learn from local artists! We'll take supplies for Cherokee and help Saturday morning with any volunteer work. Probably in the pantry. Then have fun tubing in the Oconaluftee River that flows thru Cherokee!

Aug 5th and 6thStreams and Rivers trip to Living Waters Lutheran Church in Cherokee and tubing trip. We will leave Friday afternoon around 2pm and return on Saturday.🏞

Supply list need for donations:
Toilet paper
Dish washing detergent
Shampoo
School supplies

This invitation is a hopeful opportunity for some families to get to know each other a little more, as well as to have a conversation about what and how we’d like for our youth, young adults, and families to learn about this coming year. We’ve got some exciting ideas for faith formation at St. Mark’s as we move towards the fall, and we’d like for your voices to be a part of that conversation!

Oct. 28th Mooresville(home)/Lake Norman Football game. Tailgate at St.Mark's with Men In Mission/families at St.Mark’s. Families will go together to football game.🏈🏈

ALL HANDS ON DECK! 🎃👻

Nov 11th Lock-in 6pm-8am
5th-12th Grade 💤 🤷‍♀️
