You Cannot Please God While Living for the World
James 4:4 does not soften this:

"Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." - James 4:4 (ESV)

You cannot straddle the line. You cannot ask God to bless your life while holding onto the things of the world with both hands. The double-minded Spirit that keeps you wavering between two worlds is one of the enemy's most effective tools. It keeps you just close enough to feel religious but just far enough to never walk in real power.

Principalities are territorial. Some people notice that when they leave a certain place, they feel relief. When they return, the heaviness comes back. That is not coincidence. Principalities know your history. They know where you fell before, and they will send temptations designed specifically for your weaknesses.

They also attack at night. If you have been experiencing nightmares or demonic attacks in your sleep, it is not because you are losing. It is because the enemy is afraid of what happens when you get rest. A rested believer who knows their authority is dangerous to darkness.
