Attention all members of KTM Family Worship Center past and present.
KTM Family Worship Center is closing its location at 1934 N Broadway effective 09/01/2024
It had been my pleasure to serve the body of Christ here, as a member, an associate pastor, and as senior pastor.
I have a request, I would like each of you to consider in prayer.
I stepped into the office of pastor when the former pastor Rick Myers left the church by the call of God to take another pastorate in Amory Mississippi.
In January of this year, I accepted the position of Senior Pastor and the responsibilities that go with that office.
The location of 1934 N Broadway was secured long before I came to KTM and upon my acceptance of the pastorate, I became responsible to maintain the commitments the church had made prior to my coming. I inherited a 3,250 dollar a month rent and utilities that run roughly $750 bringing my monthly operational expense to around $4000.00 per month.
It was my desire to fulfill the lease which expires in August of next year and keep the commitment made by those who went before me.
Unfortunately, that is not a possibility.
KTM has met budget each and every month, with the exception of the present. We are 30 days behind and owe Mike (who has graciously agreed to let us out of the lease agreement) one full month’s rent at $3250.00.
When pastor Rick left, most everyone who was a member of KTM also left the church. Many of you left before pastor Rick was called to Mississippi. I certainly respect each members decision to leave and wish only the best for each person and each family.
That being said, I took the church with 6 people remaining as members. Within one month’s time we were at 4 members other than myself (excluding children) there were times others came and participated, however; for the most part the financial obligations of the church at $4000 a month, has been met in full by 4 members, every month since January until August.
There is also an entry door in the back of the church that was broken several years ago which needs replaced ($1500) to which, I am also now responsible for.
The reason I am writing this today is simply to ask for your help. Any gift regardless of amount, is greatly appreciated. When you left the church (again, I’m not against anyone who left & certainly respect that decision) when you left KTM, your financial support left with you and placed a heavy burden upon the few of us that chose to stay. God has graciously provided our needs and we are only 30 days behind.
I was not personally present when the lease was signed, I did not agree to the term of the lease. I have tried diligently to uphold your commitment.
I am asking everyone to prayerfully consider giving, to help us close out the debt of the church which currently stands at $5,500 back rent and door replacement.

Mike is allowing us to close, terminate the lease agreement & not owe any further rent.
