From good food around the table to incredible conversations in our Bible studies, Wednesday Night at Moore First was pure joy.

There is something so special about pulling up a chair, sharing a meal, and breaking open the Word together. We are reminded each week that community doesn't happen in a vacuum; it happens when we slow down, pull up a seat, and share life at the table.

What a powerful morning yesterday at The Moment as we closed out our 4 week Plot Twist series! We stood with Mary Magdalene at the garden tomb in John 20:11–18 and witnessed the ultimate plot twist in human history, the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Here are the key points from yesterday:

Overwhelmed by grief, Mary stood weeping at an empty tomb, assuming someone had taken her Lord. How often does pain cloud our eyes from seeing that God is actively working?

Mary didn't recognize Jesus when she first saw Him. But the moment He simply spoke her name, "Mary",her eyes were opened. The Resurrection isn't just a historical event, it is a personal encounter with a Savior who knows and calls you by name.

Jesus entrusted Mary, a woman whose life He had completely transformed, to be the very first preacher of His resurrection. Because Christ is risen, our grief is turned to joy and our dead ends become new beginnings!
