We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and, for those who spent time in Greece, a safe and memorable trip home.

As we welcome everyone back, The New Agios Panteleimon of Andros Society of New Jersey is excited to begin another fall season filled with community, tradition, friendship, and plenty of opportunities to come together.We have a busy few months ahead and look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces at our upcoming events:

General Assembly — Tuesday, September 22 at 7:00 PM
The Greycliff, 122 Moonachie Ave., Moonachie, NJ
We invite our members to join us as we reconnect after the summer and discuss the Society’s upcoming plans and events.

Andriotes Youth Rooftop Sunset Party — Saturday, September 26
City Bistro, Hoboken
Our youth are kicking off the season with a rooftop sunset party featuring DJ Eliadrop! The evening begins after 5:00 PM. All are welcome, so bring your friends and join us for a fun night in Hoboken!
$10 Entry | RSVP Required

Trip to Agia Skepi — Saturday, October 3
We are organizing a Society trip to Agia Skepi and look forward to sharing additional details regarding transportation, timing, and reservations very soon.Annual Glendi

Saturday, November 28
Save the date for one of our favorite traditions of the year! Our Annual Glendi is coming this November, and we are looking forward to another beautiful evening celebrating our Andrioti heritage, music, dancing, family, and community. More details will be announced soon.

We are so excited to welcome everyone back and begin another season together. Our Society continues to thrive because of the participation and support of our members, families, friends, and especially our younger generations.We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Today July 27th we joyfully commemorate the Feast Day of Saint Panteleimon the Great Martyr and Healer, the beloved patron saint of our Society.

Saint Panteleimon dedicated his life to Christ through unwavering faith, compassion, and selfless service. As a physician, he healed the sick without accepting payment, becoming a shining example of God’s love and mercy. Through his martyrdom, he remained steadfast in his faith, inspiring generations of Orthodox Christians.

On this blessed feast day, we pray that Saint Panteleimon continues to intercede for our members, our families, and our community, granting us health, peace, strength, and God’s abundant blessings.

Happy Name Day (Χρόνια Πολλά) to all those celebrating today! May Saint Panteleimon’s prayers always be with you.

Σήμερα εορτάζουμε με χαρά τη μνήμη του Αγίου Μεγαλομάρτυρος και Ιαματικού Παντελεήμονος, του προστάτη της Αδελφότητάς μας.

Ο Άγιος Παντελεήμων αφιέρωσε τη ζωή του στον Χριστό με ακλόνητη πίστη, αγάπη και ανιδιοτελή προσφορά. Ως ιατρός θεράπευε τους ασθενείς χωρίς αμοιβή, αποτελώντας φωτεινό παράδειγμα της αγάπης και του ελέους του Θεού. Με το μαρτύριό του παρέμεινε σταθερός στην πίστη του, εμπνέοντας γενιές Ορθοδόξων Χριστιανών.

Την ευλογημένη αυτή ημέρα προσευχόμαστε ο Άγιος Παντελεήμων να συνεχίσει να πρεσβεύει για τα μέλη, τις οικογένειες και ολόκληρη την κοινότητά μας, χαρίζοντάς μας υγεία, ειρήνη, δύναμη και τις πλούσιες ευλογίες του Θεού.

Χρόνια Πολλά σε όλους και όλες που γιορτάζουν σήμερα! Είθε η χάρη και οι πρεσβείες του Αγίου Παντελεήμονος να σας συνοδεύουν πάντοτε.

As we wrap up another successful year, we want to wish everyone a wonderful summer in Andros and sincerely thank each and every one of you for your incredible support.

Tonight marked our final official meeting of the year, and we are proud to have awarded $5,000 in scholarships to deserving young members of our community who are continuing their education. Investing in our youth is one of the most meaningful things we do, because they are the future of our society, our culture, and our community.

Helping others, giving back, and supporting the next generation is why our organization exists. Seeing our team continue to grow year after year fills us with pride and hope. Because of your generosity and dedication, we are able to raise funds, create opportunities, and make a real difference in people’s lives.

A special congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients. Your hard work and dedication inspire us all.

Don’t forget that applications for our 2026 Scholarship Awards are now open. APPLY NOW! you could be the one receiving a scholarship award next year!
