Imagine your body is like a tent that you use when you’re camping. Tents are useful, but they don’t last forever. They can get old, ripped, or worn out. ⛺️
Paul says that our bodies here on earth are like those tents. One day, when we die, God has something much better prepared for us a forever home with Him in heaven. It will be perfect and never wear out. 🌈 ⛅️
Sometimes life is hard. We get sick, sad, hurt, or tired. Paul says that while we are living in our “tent,” we may complain or wish things were better. But we don’t have to be afraid because God has promised us something wonderful in the future. 🙏
Right now, we can’t see heaven, but we trust God anyway. That’s what Paul means when he says, “We walk by faith, not by sight.” It means we believe God’s promises even when we can’t see them. 🥰
Paul also says that whether we are here on earth or someday in heaven, our goal should be to make God happy by how we live. We show love, obey God, help others, and follow Jesus.
One day, everyone who believes in Jesus will stand before Him. Not to find out if He loves us, He already does, but to talk about how we lived our lives and what we did with the time He gave us. ❤️
