The Monastery of Our Lady of Good Hope The Monastery of Our Lady of Good Hope is an English Benedictine Monastic Community located in the historic East End Neighborhood of Charleston, West Virginia.

The Monastery is a community of men embracing the Evangelical Counsels of charity, poverty, and obedience in the spirit of the Rule of Saint Benedict. In our monastic community, we devote ourselves to a regular life of prayer and work for the worship, love, and service of God and for the upbuilding of His Kingdom through missionary activity and a life of prayer in Virginia's historic Northern Neck Region.
