Dear Spiritual Friends,
As we finish the necessary steps to close the in-person spiritual gatherings of the Spiritual Awareness Center, we have good news. Chai Chats will continue to meet on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am at the Pun Hill Himalayan Kitchen, 710 N. Townsend in Montrose. Everyone is welcome to come for a spiritual chat and a cup of the best Chai in town.
The other good news is that we are working with our Web Master to transform and expand our website at spiritaware.org to become the Spiritual Awareness Resource Center online. It will take a little time for this transformation to be completed, so check the website from time to time. We will also have zoom gatherings in the future. They will be listed on the website when they become available.
This page will soon be offline as part of the closing process. Thank you for your support and we wish you all the best of blessings for your life now and in the future.
Blessings of Peace,
Rev. Arlyn

Dear Spiritual Friends,
We have traveled the Pathways of Spirituality together for 21 years and now we come to a fork in the road. I have officially retired as senior minister of the Spiritual Awareness Center due to my husband’s health issues. There is no one to take over the leadership of our Center as so much is happening in everyone’s lives. Therefore, the SAC Council made the tough decision to officially close as of January 20th, the 21st anniversary of our founding. Thank you to everyone who has supported SAC. We are still a spiritual community and a spiritual family.
Chai Chats will continue on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am at the Pun Hill Himalayan Restaurant in Montrose as a midweek spiritual gathering. In the future we might have a Saturday or Sunday morning meeting once a month. Also, in the future other spiritual gatherings may happen on Zoom. We will be updating the web site at spiritaware.org soon to post these new dates. SAC’s page will be deleted by the end of this month.
You are invited to a Spiritual Giveaway on Sunday, January 24th, from 1-3 pm to select a memento, an angel, a drum, or other token, from the SAC collection to remember us. The address is 711 Silver Drive in Montrose.
We are pleased to announce that the Meditation Group, lead by Sangdrol Blanchard, will take over the time slot on Sunday mornings, beginning at 9:30, at the Lions Park Community Building. You are invited to join in the meditation gathering at any time.
It has been a pleasure serving you as a spiritual leader for these 21 years. I do plan to finish a new Huna book with new insights, continue teaching classes, and to write down everything I have learned during my 84 years on this beautiful planet. Ministers never retire; their ministry just takes on new forms. May the Divine Spirit continue to illuminate your life.
Blessings of Peace and Light and Love,
Rev. Arlyn

In this New Year, remember every day to breathe in Light and breathe out Love. God is Light and Love and as you breathe in Light, you breathe in God. As you breathe out Love, you are infusing your Love with God’s Love. Loving kindness will flow into your life with each spiritual practice. This is a simple, but powerful practice you can use anywhere and any time. Breathe in Light and breathe out Love. You are the Light and the Love of God. Feel that in every cell of your body, infuse your life with Light and Love. -Namaste, Rev. Arlyn

I was inspired by a line in today’s Daily Word message from Unity Church: “When I imagine, I transcend the limits of the world and touch the realm of unlimited potential.” I pictured my imagination soaring out into the universe seeking new potentials. I would rather do this than to write New Year’s resolutions that I might not follow. What new potential can I envision for this year? What new potential can you envision for your new year? What have you been holding in your heart and not allowing to blossom? This new year of 2026 is a “1”, the beginning of all. It is our beginning too. Reflect on your secret desire you can bring into the world. The world is waiting…Namaste – Rev. Arlyn

The New Year is a time for reflecting on what we want to create in our lives. Are you ready for a change? Are you ready for more joy, more prosperity, more love? The beginning of the New Year is the time to set your intentions, to focus and pray for all your good to manifest in your life. We do this by first reflecting on what no longer serves us and reinstating the positive ideas in our hearts and minds. Write down what you want to come into your life. Use positive words and clear visions. Align yourselves, heart, mind, and soul. Take some time to do this reflection and post your positive affirmations to help you create the best life possible. You have the power to change your life. Namaste – Rev. Arlyn

The New Year is upon us and with the New Year come many changes in our lives. Change is only life unfolding. Life continues to unfold and bloom despite our efforts to remain a tightly closed bud. Our blooming is our growth into who we really are. The older we grow, the more we become our true selves. We are all blooming in the Garden of God on this beautiful blue planet we call home. We are part of that Great Cycle of Life that was created in the beginning, and it was created GOOD. Let your life bloom with GOOD this coming year. You are a precious part of All Creation. Blessings for your New Year – Namaste – Rev. Arlyn

Meditation Spaces - hosted by SAC

New Year with Meditation & SAC

We are happy to announce that Sunday morning meditation classes led by Meditation Spaces will continue through the year 2026 with a small change in start time. While Rev. Arlyn continues her sabbatical, she is very excited about these meditation sessions to continue as we move into the new year.

As you know there will NOT be a Sunday meditation session on December 28th, but will start up again on January 4th with a new start time of 9:00 am for community visiting, and meditation session will begin at 9:30am. This time change will help accommodate the possibility of continued SAC sessions after meditation classes in February or March, which potentially can begin at 11:00 am as usual.

These January Sunday morning meditation sessions will continue to be free, and are open to anyone interested in connecting with others who enjoy group meditation and spiritual connection. Donations are welcomed, bring a friend. The address is still at the Lions Clubhouse, 602 N. Nevada Ave, Montrose Colorado. Chairs will be set up, bring your own cushion if you prefer.

SEE YOU SUNDAY, JANUARY 4TH, 2026!

As we prepare for Christmas, let us remember it is only one of many Festivals of Light at this time of year. Every culture and religion has a celebration of Light with meaningful rituals that bring a sense of purpose to our hearts. SAC also celebrates the Winter Solstice with a Prayer Gathering at the Peace Pole in Ute Indian Park. We celebrate the return of the spiritual Light to the world. Light represents Spirit and Spirit-God is always with us. In the dark of winter, or difficult times in our lives, the Light doesn’t seem to shine, but God-Light is always there and the Solstice marks the return of the Light to our Mother Earth and to us as from this point the days will grow longer. I invite you to think about how Light influences your life. May the Holy Spirit of Light fill your holiday season. Namaste – Rev. Arlyn

Cookies baking in ovens, Christmas carols playing in all the stores, bright colored lights adorning homes and businesses, parades and programs – the holiday season is here! It is a time to be joyful, to spread more kindness to strangers, and to wish people “Happy Holidays.” It is also time for deep reflection on what is important in your life. It isn’t the new car you are buying during the year-end sales. It isn’t the amount of money you are spending for presents for the family. It is the love in the eyes of those you hold dear. It is the feeling of peace and serenity that comes from your faith foundation. It is the community spirit at the Christmas Eve service as the candles illuminate the faces of spiritual friends. It is the gift of giving. All of these are the important things about Christmas. May your holidays be filled with Love, Joy, Hope, and Peace. Namaste – Rev. Arlyn
