The Bible teaches that when you place your faith in Jesus and declare Him Lord of your life, you are baptized into one body. You are sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, a definitive mark of your belonging.

Believer's baptism signifies a conscious decision to die to yourself and dedicate your life to God. If you were baptized as a baby, consider a believer's baptism to affirm your faith.

If you've made a big mistake and feel the need to be baptized again, it's not a requirement for salvation. However, if your original baptism wasn't understood or you were too young, consider getting baptized again. You can do it today.

I wanted the full experience, to be completely immersed. So, as a senior in high school, I got baptized in a pond with my friends. We were fired up for God, not wanting to miss a single thing.

The Bible says we are "baptized into the body of Christ." This means we are immersed together, becoming brothers and sisters. It's not too bad; it's too good! We are family.
