Due to the weather, we missed our Souper Bowl collection on Super Bowl Sunday. The game may be over — but the need isn’t. This Sunday we’ll continue our Souper Bowl in overtime, collecting soup and canned goods for the food pantry, Western Hanover Emergency Action Team (WHEAT).

🥣🏈 SOUPer Bowl Sunday at St. Peter’s! 🏈🥣We need your help!

When we gather for our next in person worship🤞on Sunday, February 8, bring a can of soup to support the Western Hanover Emergency Action Team (WHEAT) food pantry.

Here’s where the fun comes in: place your soup in one of two boxes at the altar — Patriots or Seahawks — and cast your vote for who you think will win the big game! We’ll bless the donations during worship and ask God to use them to nourish and care for our neighbors in need.

Let’s see which team fills up their box first and make a big impact together in the fight against hunger.

As we celebrate the Souper Bowl, let’s remember that true greatness isn’t found in the score of a game, but in how we serve one another. “Whatever you did for one of the least of these… you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40 💛
