Take some time today to pray for those who are in leadership positions; locally, at the state level and nationally. God has commanded us to lift them up in prayer.

1 Timothy 2:1-2

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

‪Yes life can be tough. Sometimes there doesn’t seem to be a way out or through. But never forget the God we serve loves you. He has already conquered death. Let Him lead you. Let Him be your miracle. ‬

Sometimes the person you think has everything all together, is always smiling and appears to have no worries at all, really needs prayer, becausese they are struggling in ways you can’t imagine.

Simply put. If God places someone in front of you or places someone on your heart, lift them up in prayer. Or better yet, reach out and pray with them.

(No, this is not about me, or anyone in particular, but an observstion I have made several times in the past few years).

Remember that your identity isn’t in what you have done, or in the sins you have committed. Your identity is in Jesus Christ.

Sometimes tough questions need to be asked and answered. If you are a Christian, when was the last time you shared Jesus with someone?

2 Corinthians 5:20

“20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

If you are a Christian, who are you mentoring right now? Who is mentoring you?

Proverbs 27:17

“17 As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another.”

The Great Commission was not only for the Apostles, but for Christians today. And it wasn’t meant to be a one time event. It was meant as an ongoing commitment to a brother or sister.

Matthew 28:20

“20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
