Some people have asked and so here are a couple of promotional posters for the Awakening conference in case you'd like to share. I'd encourage you to post them on social media for sure and for extra credit you could print them and post them on a community board.

What's Happening at LifeSong?

Weekly One-Liner: The first time I see a jogger smiling, I'll consider it!

This Week
*No Youth Group This Sunday - It's Labor Day weekend and so we're taking a break, but we will be back next weekend

* The Awakening Conference - Is coming up next weekend! We have an amazing line up.

Pastor Jeff Keller will be preaching on Friday night starting at 6:30PM. His message will encourage you to live a life of great faith and faithfulness before the Lord.

Dr. Marc Monte will be preaching on Saturday night starting at 6:30PM. His message will unlock doors to dealing Biblically with depression and anxiety.

Dr. John Nugent will teach us on Saturday afternoon starting at 3PM. His teaching will open up your eyes to see God's plans and purposes for gathering a people and what it really means to be God's church.

And don't forget, we will have Lee Anna & the Resolvers leading worship on Friday and Saturday night.

We do have childcare planned.

So do whatever it takes to get here and don't forget the bring your Bible and bring a friend.

Coming Up
* Together Tonight - Kicks off on Sunday, September 20th at 5PM. Dinner will be provided (BBQ Pork Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chips) and we will end a little early for an Ice Cream social.

* Campfire Friday - Our last campfire of the year is scheduled for September 18th at JT and Hannah Fakers. Everything starts at 6:30PM. Mark it on your calander.

It is with a heavy and sympathetic heart that I am sharing with you that John VanCleve passed away last night. Please keep Julie and Meghan and the entire VanCleve family in your prayers as they are really heartbroken and shocked by his sudden passing.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Thine presence is hereby and hitherto requested to be in attendance at LifeSong Church on Sunday, September 13th, for the grandest of all occasions...THE GANG'S ALL HERE, SUNDAY! Long has it been pondered what mightest the sanctuary of God looketh like if all saints and souls should be in attendance? Wouldst there be even one single chair left absent? Wouldst we all enjoy the harmony of each other's presence? Shouldst we also consider the atmosphere of such a gathering? Wouldst there be warm greetings, welcoming hearts, a place for each, and an elevated experience of God in our midst? Well, I sayeth unto thee, thou will only know if thou cometh! So mark thy calendar and make every effort to attend as your presence is necissary. Let thy rallying call from this moment forth as it pertains to The Gangs All Here Sunday be, "Here Ye, Here Ye!"

In all seriousness, we are trying something that we have never tried before, to have a Sunday where everyone who calls LifeSong Church their home, attends service . I think it will make for a special Sunday if we can all be there. It will be the final service of the Awakening Conference and I am going to preach a sermon how we properly engage and respond to the word of God. So, don't be that guy! Make the decision today and make every effort to be at church on Sunday, September 13th.
