Decorating the OCC boxes 8/26/26. We had a fun night decorating these. It is very humbling to see how much you can pack into these boxes. I have been told that most of the children that receive one of these boxes, it has been the only gift they have ever received. Let that sink in for a minute, added photos of items that we try to send. Sadly, it doesn't feel like it's enough. When you begin filling your boxes, pray over it for the child that receive it.
Upcoming OCC kickoff meeting is this Saturday 9/12/26 at Beacon Hill Baptist Church 10-12.

When the preaching ends, the songs stop, and everyone goes home, your Christianity should not end there.

Live out your faith in your home.
At school.
At work.
In traffic.
On social media.
In the way you speak.
In the way you forgive.
In the way you treat difficult people.

It is easy to look spiritual inside a church service.
The greater test is how you live when no one is watching.
Do you still honor Christ when the service is over?
Do you still speak with grace?
Do you still choose integrity?
Do you still serve others?
Do you still resist temptation?
Do you still reflect Christ?

The world does not only need to hear what you believe.
It needs to see what you believe.
Your life should preach long after the sermon is finished.
Let your faith move beyond Sunday.

“You are the light of the world…”
Matthew 5:14

Do not only go to church.
Be the church wherever God places you.

Baseball analogy shared by Bro. Joel
1st base: believing in Christ and giving your heart to him to receive salvation.
2nd base: attending church
3rd base: Bible reading, singing in church, all the extra good deeds.
Home plate: Heaven with Jesus
Like baseball if you touch all the bases and you will make it home! You can’t skip base 1 and go to base 2 and 3…you will miss out of on being home with Jesus.
