If God forgave it, why are you still carrying it? 🕊️

Satan loves to remind you of your past, and sometimes we are our own worst accusers. But Christ doesn’t just patch up our symptoms—He heals the "bent" of who we are.

Every past mistake. Every deep-rooted regret. The ones you can't seem to forgive yourself for... It is forgiven. All of it.

In Episode 172 of The Other Six Podcast, we explore the rich truths of Psalm 103 and David’s call to “forget not all His benefits.” We discuss how remembering God’s goodness guards our hearts from complaining, what God’s compassion and grace meant to Israel, how believers should understand God’s promise of healing, and why God is not constantly disappointed with His children. We also examine how Psalm 103 points us to the Gospel through the forgiveness of sins and the removal of our guilt “as far as the east is from the west,” offering hope, freedom, and assurance for every believer.

This Sunday in Summer in the Psalms, we were reminded of a powerful truth from Psalm 103: All we really have is what money can’t buy, and death can’t steal.

When life tempts us to focus on what’s missing, David calls us to remember God’s goodness and “forget not all His benefits.” From forgiveness and mercy to redemption and steadfast love, God has given us more than we could ever deserve.

This week’s practice: At the end of each day, write down one way God was gracious to you that day. Gratitude grows when we intentionally remember His faithfulness.

What is one way you’ve seen God’s grace today? ⬇️

What a great Sunday at Vaughn Forest! 🙌

This week in Summer in the Psalms, we were reminded to “forget not all His benefits” (Psalm 103). When we intentionally remember God’s goodness, our hearts are filled with gratitude instead of grumbling, worship instead of worry, and hope instead of discouragement.

No matter what season you’re walking through, God is compassionate, gracious, forgiving, and faithful. He does not treat us as our sins deserve, and through Christ, our sins have been removed as far as the east is from the west.

Let’s carry that truth with us this week and continue remembering all He has done. ❤️

If God is Lord over all creation, then He is Lord over every part of my life.

It’s easy to worship God in the places where we feel His blessing. It’s harder to trust Him in the places where we feel His silence.

Psalm 95 reminds us that God’s authority doesn’t end where our understanding does. The same God who rules the mountains also rules the valleys. The same God who commands the seas is present in the storms.

There is not a corner of creation—or a corner of your life—that exists outside of His rule, His presence, or His purpose.

That means we don’t just worship Him because He made the world. We worship Him because we can trust Him with our world.

"Oh come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand."
- Psalm 95:6-7

Worship was never meant to stop at celebration. It is meant to lead us all the way to surrender.
