🕵️‍♀️The Marvelous Mystery VBS 2026 🕵️‍♀️

At this year's VBS, we had many detectives trying to solve the Marvelous Mystery of the Mass! These detectives listened to virtue demonstrations, watched skits, ate yummy snacks, made crafts, prayed in the Church, and played games to gather clues and understand the Mass more!

We were so blessed to have an awesome team of adults and youth helpers leading the detectives at VBS this year!! Thank you to all who participated, donated items, or prayed for us during this time. We appreciate it so much!!! 🙏

We had a busy summer at Ablaze Youth Ministry!! It was full of fellowship, fun, and creating new memories in our youth group! Here are the highlights:

☀️ We took 49 middle school and high school students to Holiday World! These students participated in our incentive program for coming to religious ed and youth group throughout the year!

☀️ We hosted our Marvelous Mystery VBS for 60 Pre-K to 5th Grade students and had 21 youth helpers (more pictures to come!!).

☀️ We had 5 Spark Nights for Middle School Students! During this time, we have fun activities and dive into Scripture! We also have a night where the students get to pray in Adoration!

☀️ We took 13 students on a mission trip to Roanoke, VA (see pictures in our previous post)!

☀️ For our end of summer event, we were so blessed to go to Kavanaugh Farm for a slip n' slide, water balloon fights, and human battleship!

It was definitely a busy and blessed summer! Thank you to everyone who made all of our summer activities possible!

Catholic Heart Work Camp in Roanoke, VA was an AMAZING experience!!! Our youth worked and worshiped in a way that would make our whole community proud! Thank you so much to everyone who made it possible to go!!
