Thank you to those from Wetumpka and Montgomery who joined to serve our neighbors in Greenville,MS after a winter storm. They were Tim and Coonie Rollins, Les Brown, Bill Summerlin, Ricky Crowe, David Grimes, Marj Silva, and Debbie Perry. I believe you presented a positive image of Christ to those we served.

Every year, disaster happens. Every year, Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief responds. Every year, there are training opportunities to credential new individuals from our dedicated churches. These volunteers help in recovery and cleanup efforts while sharing the gospel message. The attached pictures reflect some of the new volunteers who completed the chainsaw training this past weekend and joined the team. Thank you to the combined chainsaw team from Troy and Montgomery: Chuck Ash, Alyson Gremley, Averyt Walker, Donnie Walker, Don Wambles, Norm Bell, David Grimes, and David Spence. These served Christ by serving those impacted by Hurricane Helene in the Clearwater SC area. They met the needs of several homeowners and gave them hope. As they blessed the homewowner, they were blessed by the Lord. Thank you for giving if yourself and your time.

Thank you to members of the Montgomery Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers, David Grimes, Eddie Upshaw, Mark Silva and Debbie Perry. Who with Elmore Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers Les Brown, Bill Summerlin, Tim Rollins and Connie Rollins. They worked hard in the Texas heat on Monday and in wet conditions Tuesday through Friday. Their commitment to serve others in the name of Christ.

Thank you to the Disaster Relief volunteers who served our neighbors on Oct 5 and 6. They, David Grimes, Eddie Upshaw, Pete Smith and Debbie Perry trimmed trees for benefit of one. On the sixth Norm Bell, Dave Spence, Cliff Holladay, Tim Powell, David Grimes, Pete Smith, Eddie Upshaw and Debbie Perry worked to remove some dead trees in another neighbor's yard; some a threat to her home. Thank each of you for your service to our Lord Jesus Christ.
