It’s been about two weeks since we gathered in Montgomery, AL—how’s your progress on your Community Map coming along? By now, you should be mapping out your neighborhood to identify local schools, churches, nonprofits, and other key spaces. This isn’t just an exercise—it’s a critical step toward gaining a deeper understanding of what’s happening in your community and how your ministry can respond more effectively.

Youth leaders, youth workers, and youth pastors from across the country gathered in Montgomery, AL, for the National Baptist Convention. Within the Youth and Young Adult Auxiliary, they participated in the Youth Leaders Institute’s course titled Creative Ways of Teaching for Youth Ministry.
