The HLA is a 3 day online institute for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, focusing on helping students to discern their calls to ministry or Christian leadership. Rising high school juniors and seniors will encounter a week-long experience where students will take part in a service-filled, learning-filled, and worship-filled retreat as they discern their individual calls to ministry. he HLA is a means to equip and empower students to commit to ministry, whether as deacons or elders, missionaries, music or children’s or youth pastors, worship leaders, and lay leaders.

✨On today’s , we’re hearing from 2017 & 2018 camper, Stefaney Grim! ✨

▫️So, why HLA?
“I heard about HLA from my pastor back when I was a junior in high school because I kept asking him questions and was very involved with helping the church.”

▫️Favorite part of HLA?
“What I loved the most about my time there would have to be the fellowship between all the students and mentors, giving us time to ask hard questions we normally do not ask.”

▫️Words of advice for future HLA peeps?
“For the newcomers to HLA I encourage coming in with an open mind and ask the hard questions because you never know where that question might lead the groups to think about! … Take your time and enjoy the word of God while experiencing what it is like to be surrounded by other students wanting to dig deeper and connect and thrive while discovering who they are as Christians.”
