He is a product of the Montgomery County Public School System. After finishing Jefferson Davis High School, he received a B.A. Degree from Alabama State University in Communications. He later furthered his education on a master’s level from the University Oklahoma in Biblical Studies. unto God a workman not to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth, he obtained another degree in Pastoral Counseling. He is the Husband of one wife-Juliet Crawford and has two lovely daughters Jasmine and Jacquetta. Bishop Crawford and his family resides in Montgomery. Bishop Crawford founded the “Church that Christ Built” in 1986 in the City of Wetumpka, Alabama. Later in 1988 “The Church That Christ Built” gave birth to Bethlehem Temple Church Inc. which relocated to Todd Road in Montgomery, Alabama. God impressed on one of the members to lead the building project of a new debt free facility on Todd Road. After continued growth the congregation purchased a facility at 441 High Street in 1995. The Lord continued to bless and gave favor. God gave Bishop Crawford a vision of an Apostolic Covering Ministry. In 2002 he planted a church in Tallassee, Alabama Bethlehem Temple #2. The focal point of Bishop Crawford’s life and vision is centered around the love of God. Driven by the love of God for the people, in October of 2000 God gave Bishop Crawford a vision to start an outreach program for the homeless. This program touched many lives throughout the city of Montgomery and surrounding cities. In this vision Bishop Crawford found the Alabama Cooperative Adult Rehabilitation Education Center Inc. This center sponsored many programs which included but not limited to Welfare to Work, Assistance in getting Social Security and SSI benefits, Social Security Disability, Medicaid/Medicare benefits, Job Placement Assistance, Drug Counseling, Individual and Family Counseling, On The Spot Drug Testing, Mentorship, Alternative Sentencing, Co-ed Housing, On The Site Feeding, and Clothes Closet. Many agencies such as the Department of Human Resources (DHR), City, County and State Correctional facilities, Hospitals and Nursing Homes were sending people for assistance. In February 2003 Bishop Crawford vision continued to spread. Bethlehem Temple Church purchased a facility on 4214 Rosa Parks Avenue Montgomery. In this facility the vision of a Christian Library, Day Care Center, and School will materialize. In October 2006, Bishop Crawford started Bethlehem Temple Educational Development Center which houses the Day Care. Bishop Crawford has started and served on many non-profit boards in the community. He served as chairman of Faith Outreach Missions, (a community based organization). He is a member of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith (P.C.A.F.) This is an international organization which has it’s origin with the Pentecostal Assembles of the World (P.A.W.) In 2009 Bishop Crawford founded Connecting the Body of Christ Fellowship where he serves as presiding prelate. This is a two-fold organization with a Fellowship and Episcopal side that encompasses all Christian churches, denominations and organizations.
