This week at camp, we’ve been studying the uniqueness of the Lord’s church and the many biblical descriptions God uses to identify His kingdom. Throughout the New Testament, the church is referred to by several names and illustrations that reveal its purpose, identity, and relationship with Christ.
As we examine these descriptions, we’re challenged to look inward and ask an important question: Am I truly a part of God’s flock? The Bible not only describes the Lord’s church, but it also clearly teaches the path by which we enter His body. Our goal must be to follow God’s plan rather than our own, ensuring that we belong to the body Christ established and purchased with His blood.
