REIF Global

REIF Global RiversEdge International Fellowship as an organization is closed.

Permanently closed.
05/05/2025

This is to inform you that RiversEdge International Fellowship (North America and USA) will dissolve as an organization effective May 31st, 2025.

It has been a difficult decision but one, based on diminishing support and participation, that had to be made.

We, the Board of RiversEdge International Fellowship, honor and appreciate all of those who have participated in fellowship and in partnership with REIF and REIF Global over the years.

We especially want to thank and honor the memory of our founder, Dr Eddie R Mitchell. Many came to him looking for fellowship, to be a part of something bigger than they were, and to better support one another in ministry and for the kingdom of God. Dr Mitchell prayerfully accepted the idea and role of leading an organization of ministers and ministries. From 2009 until his passing in 2022, that was his heart. Dr Mitchell loved God, loved his local church family, and loved this fellowship family, giving his life to each wholeheartedly.

We want to thank and honor Dr Fred L Bennett for his years of service, fellowship, and support of RiversEdge International Fellowship, as a founding member, as a founding officer of the Board, and as the president of the Board and the fellowship from 2022 to 2025. We continue to hold Dr Bennett and his wife Valerie in high esteem and continue to pray our God's best on them and their next adventures with God.

The mission and vision originally given to Dr Eddie Mitchell for an organization that is not a denomination with hierarchy but is a fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ who are co-laborers with Christ, equal in calling, and equal in supporting one another and in building up the Church to be what God has called the Church to be and to build up the Church to do the work of the ministry. This idea of affirming one another in Christ to do good works, of validating the gifts and calling God has placed in those in fellowship, to holding one another accountable to God, to ourselves, and to our peers, of building relationships in ministry, in faith in God, in trust supporting each other, to having a life given to prayer and consecration unto our God; this has not gone away.

We, as the Board, are looking to what our God has next and that this ministry to one another as servants of God, called by Jesus Christ, ministering to the Church is not diminished nor put away and forgotten. But rather, as Jesus said: unless a seed falls to the ground and dies, it cannot grow and produce fruit.

It is my prayer that the seeds of faith, prayer, and service, sown by this fellowship and ministry partners, grow and produce fruit significantly and abundantly, so much that all of the Earth sees it and glorifies the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jesus...
Psalm 1:3
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

Jeremiah 17:7-8
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Ezekiel 47:12
Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.

Daniel 4:11-12
The tree grew and became strong;
Its height reached to the heavens,
And it could be seen to the ends of all the earth.
Its leaves were lovely,
Its fruit abundant,
And in it was food for all.
The beasts of the field found shade under it,
The birds of the heavens dwelt in its branches,
And all flesh was fed from it.

RiversEdge International Fellowship:
Moments
4 Stones - 4th Stone
“A Breaking and Crushing Stone”

We have seen where those stones that were burnt and cast away were the very stones God used to rebuild that which He has established. (Nehemiah 4.2)

We have seen that the stone rejected has become the chief cornerstone upon which everything else is built. (Matthew 21.42)

We have seen the stone God chooses has become the judgment and destroys the works of man. (Daniel 2.31-45)

And now, we see this stone rejected has become the established stone and a place of judgement.

“And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What has been rejected, God has established anew, set in place, set in judgment.

We can fall on the stone, ask for mercy, and be broken.

Or.

We can be unrepentant and be crushed.

The God of the Bible has set before us the choice of Life or Death.

Jesus has become the stone rejected and established, the founding stone for a new life with the God of the Bible. He has given us a granted righteousness through grace and faith.

Let us build upon that which was established for us in righteousness that we might lead others to salvation and establish a firm foundation for the next generation.

Amen?
