📚 Today was Dictionary Project Sort Day!

A huge thank you to the members of the Montgomery Rotary Club, the Capital City Rotarians, and Trinity Presbyterian School for taking time out of their day to volunteer with us!

We officially have all of the dictionaries for Montgomery County Public Schools packed and ready to be delivered over the next few weeks. 🎉

The Dictionary Project is especially meaningful to our club because it ensures that every third-grade student in our local public schools receives a dictionary of their very own. We’re proud to continue this tradition and invest in the students of our community year after year.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and helped put Service Above Self into action! 💙📖

Today, the Montgomery Rotary Club celebrated one of Rotary’s most meaningful traditions—the Passing of the Gavel.

We extend our sincere gratitude to outgoing President Kimberly Baker for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and service over the past year. Through her commitment to Rotary’s mission and our club, Kimberly helped strengthen our impact in the community and fostered fellowship among our members. We thank her for a remarkable year and for the many ways she has embodied Service Above Self.

As we look ahead, we are excited to welcome Henry Davis as our new Club President. Henry’s passion for service, leadership, and commitment to Rotary make him exceptionally well-suited to guide our club in the year ahead. We look forward to working alongside him as we continue to make a positive difference in Montgomery and beyond.

Please join us in thanking Kimberly for her dedicated service and congratulating Henry as he begins his year as President. 💙💛

Today, the Montgomery Rotary Club had the honor of recognizing the incredible work of Friendship Mission during our annual charity luncheon 💙

We were proud to present two donations in support of their mission—helping provide essential resources and create healthier, more welcoming outdoor spaces for the women’s and children’s shelter. From garden beds and irrigation to seating and supplies, these contributions will make a lasting impact. 🌿

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Joshua M. Pendergrass, Esq., for sharing his time and insight with us—it made the day even more meaningful.

And thank you to our generous sponsors and community members who continue to make this work possible. Together, we are making a difference.
