السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ (27)
"And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways"
عيدكم مبارك و كل عام وانتم بخير

‎شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ
‎مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ
The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days.

Assalamo Alikum :
When Eid Meets Jumu’ah

The one who attends Salat-Al-Eid, is not obligated to attend Jumu’ah Prayers.

But, for those who weren’t able to attend Eid Prayers or want to get more rewards for attending Jumu’ah,
EMIC will still hold Jumu’ah prayers at 1:00 PM ( one Jumu’ah only)

It was narrated that 'Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allah have mercy on him) said, when two Eids came together on one day: Whoever wants to pray Jumu'ah, let him do so, and whoever wants to stay, let him do so.”

Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him), according to which the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Two Eids have come together on this day of yours, so whoever wishes, it [the Eid prayer] will suffice for Jumu‘ah, but we will pray Jumu‘ah in sha Allah.”

Montgomery Muslim community will celebrate Eid Alfitter in Friday.

Eid prayer will start at 9:00 AM sharp.

Bring your own rug, because when the main praying area gets full, Muslims will be directed to the new facility that doesn’t have carpet.

‏Alsalamo Alikom wa rahmatu Allah wa Barakatuhu

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
‎كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
Everyone shall taste death. Then unto Us you shall be returned.

Our dear brother Dr.Asad khan’s father passed away in New York. Khan family is requesting prayers and Dua from our community.
Brother Asad is accepting condolences on Thursday March 24th after Ishaa prayer at EMIC.Inshallah.
