What a special night together! Our International Ministry Dinner was a wonderful time for our church family to love on, welcome, and connect with our ESL students and their families. We’re so thankful for the opportunity to share a meal, build friendships, and remind our international families that they are loved and welcomed here. We are blessed to be a church family that gets to do life together! First Baptist Church Montgomery

Our FBC-CM International Ministry will host a Fellowship Dinner on Wednesday, October 21, at 5:00 PM in Fellowship Hall. This dinner is a wonderful opportunity for us to welcome and build relationships with international students and their families. We currently have 24 international student families signed up for the October 21 dinner. Our goal is to have at least 24 FBC families who will come alongside them and help welcome them into our church family. There is a tremendous opportunity here for our church to build genuine relationships with people from around the world who are right here in Montgomery. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Kelda Brenny! [email protected]

September 16th was a success launching City Gates Youth at Nehemiah. We had 12 students in attendance all of which were very excited about the time we had, promising a return next week. We connected with a new family from our community, the three children are students at Percy Julian. After food and games, we began our verse-by-verse study through the Gospel According to Mark. All were attentive and responsive in our bible study. The exciting thing is, none of these kids have ever attended a youth group of any kind.

1 Chronicles 29:11 “O Lord, the God of our ancestor Israel,[i] may you be praised forever and ever! 11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.

Join us in praying for our ESL and CE classes as they start back this week!

Pray that gospel conversations would take place, meaningful relationships would be formed, and that hearts would be open to the truth of the Gospel.

Most of all, pray that God would receive all the glory through this ministry and that He would use these classes to make His name known.

Thank you for praying with us!
