Sports Camp Day 1!
What a great first day! We started the week off with art, dance, basketball, soccer, football & baseball as our campers learned about God's good plan for their lives.

Our verse for the week: Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off all that hinders and sin that so easily entangles, and
let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. So let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2a

Hidden in Plain Sight - Genesis 3
Sermon Video - May 31, 2026

On Sunday, May 31, Adam Coppock continued our new sermon series on Genesis: Prologue to the Bible as he shared a message entitled: Hidden in Plain Sight from Genesis 3.

SERMON IN A SENTENCE: Seeking to be our own gods we gained shame and death yet life is found in the One True God seeking and covering us.

OUTLINE:
1. Forgetting God
2. Hiding from God
3. Needing God

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1. What are some questions that reading Genesis 3 brings up for you? What are some things even confusing, don't make sense or just surprise you in the story?
2. What effects of man's disobedience in Ch. 3 immediately distort God's good design of Gen. 1 and 2?
3. What are ways you tend to hide from God in your sin?
4 .God continues to seek out the man and woman in their shame, and He does the same for us today. Describe ways you have seen God's pursuing love and grace in your life. Share that with someone today.

It was such an honor to pray over our military families as they move to their next stations, even if it’s only for a time before they return! We have been so blessed to have them at Young Meadows this season. Our lives & church family are richer knowing them! We pray for peace, protection, and blessings in this next chapter.
