Biblical Faith Tabernacle Church Where the spirit of the Lord is going on!!! Biblical Faith Tabernacle began as a "Mission" in March 1988. Featherstone. Millhouse. White. In 1997, sister Ellen P.

This was the beginning of a new era for a few faithful followers of Christ. A plan for the "Mission" was placed on the heart of sister Ellen P. The plan was to come together and seek God for guidance for a place to worship while continuing to pay tithes & offerings to forward to God's chosen place. The first meeting was held at the home of sister Fannie B. Nine saints prayerfully came together to

seek God for direction. They began to also seek God for the Holy Ghost and for a permanent place to worship. These faithful few continued to meet from house to house continually and diligently seeking God. As the "Mission" grew, God blessed the faithful few with an overseer by the name of Elder George H. In October 1989, God opened a door for the believers to worship at the Riverside Heights Community Center. At that time, the church was organized and their first pastor, Elder Ossie Brundidge was installed. They later added Minister Ray McKinstry to assist in the pastor. Soon after, the believers found a new worship facility located on Swan Street. After the resignation of Pastor Brundidge in September 1992, then the assistant pastor, Polly Moncrief, assumed the role of Pastor. Featherstone accepted God's call and assumed the role of pastor. We continued to worship at the Swan Street location, until 1998, when God blessed us with a new location on Norman Bridge Road in here in Montgomery, Al. God increased membership so much that the church family soon outgrew the current building. Pastor Featherstone received a vision from the Lord describing a new church building. When the vision was revealed to the church family, we began to work towards making this vision a reality. In May 2001, we were able to buy 4 acres of land and a house just two blocks from the current location. As a result of the hard work and dedication of the church family and friends, in June 2002, a newly built church was constructed at 4485 Norman Bridge Road. We believe that God will continue to enlarge our territory and increase that which He has given us.

Our hearts is sadden with the passing of our dear sweet churchmember Siste Dean

Adrienne Dante Dean, 38, a native of Frisco City and a resident of St. Stephens, departed this life Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, while at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. Adrienne was born June 9, 1979 and the daughter of Ronda Dean and Curtis Davis in Monroeville. She was a 1997 graduate of Frisco City High School. While living in Frisco City she was a member Holy Church of God Pentecostal No. 2. After moving to Montgomery she united with Biblical Faith Tabernacle Church, where she sang in the choir and assisted with the youth department. Upon returning to St. Stephens, she was under watch care of Mackey Branch No. 2 Baptist Church in Gosport.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ronda Marie Dean; grandparents, Lula and Richard Dean and Richard Davis.

Left to cherish her memories are her devoted father and stepmother, Curtis and Barbara Davis of St. Stephens; devoted sisters, Nicole Dean of Montgomery and Kayla Davis of Jackson; grandmother, Jessie Lee Davis of Whatley; with a host of nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 30, with viewing from 10 a.m. until the 12-noon funeral at Mackey Branch No. 2 Baptist Church, 32830 Highway 84, Gosport, with the Rev. Charles Jones, pastor and the Rev. Darryl Perryman as officiating minister. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Final life celebration has been entrusted to Jackson Memorial Funeral Home, 203 East Ross St., Jackson, AL 36545.
