Montevallo Presbyterian Church welcomes all people into the full life of our congregation, including services of worship, membership, eligibility for leadership, availability of pastoral care, and opportunities for learning, fellowship and service. We affirm the worth of every person as a bearer of God’s image, and we welcome all

people, regardless of social, economic or marital status, race, ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or previous religious affiliation. As we are freely loved and accepted by God, we will offer love and acceptance in this congregation.

The greatest commandment was never "be right."
It was never "win arguments."
It was never "draw lines."
Jesus said the greatest commandment is love.

So when LGBTQIA+ people are told they are less than, excluded, or unwelcome, we choose a different path.

We choose love.
We choose affirmation.
We choose belonging.
Not because culture demands it.
Because Christ does.
