We are looking for a Volunteer Flower Captain for Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Shelby County, Alabama. If you're interested in supporting our mission at this cemetery, please email the "Colonel!" [email protected] This is a volunteer position to support our "Flower on Every Grave Program!" each year and help build relationships and sponsorships with local businesses and corporations that will support this initiative annually. You would be in charge of the event each Memorial Day at the cemetery to distribute roses and assign sections of the cemetery.

Cut some Veteran Honor roses from the house. Hopefully we can get enough donations come August to place more

There will be no ceremony on memorial day however; I intend on still doing the roses.
Comment if you donated and the amount. It appears Alabama's donations have been assigned to the national instead of the local.
