There is a difference between being in church and being planted in the house if the Lord!

Are we serving or attending?
Are we partaking or observing?
Are we contributing or taking?

We aren’t reaping the full benefit of God’s house if we aren’t fully planted. A plant properly set in soil is getting nutrients and water - the Word and building faith. That turns into their being rooted and growing. That ends with them sharing their nectar with bees and insects - us feeding others - who then go on to re-pollunate elsewhere - spreading the Gospel to those we, ourselves, couldn’t reach.

Being planted is a process. Its growth. And it doesn’t tend to just affect you.

If you find you aren’t planted, and would like to be, we would wholeheartedly like to invite you to begin the process of planting with us! We believe in discipleship and we believe in loving and growing and helping one another. You have a place to serve in here! And so do your children - they are encouraged to sing with the choir/special songs/share their testimony/pray on the altar, and serve within their church as a whole. They aren’t the future - they are the present…and they are welcome here!

Upcoming Event - Men’s Breakfast this Saturday, Aug 8th. Men will meet at Burger King in Monterey and go to Shoneys in Crossville for Breakfast and Fellowship.

We will have no Sunday school or Sunday night service. Worship to begin at 11am. Bro. Elijah Whittaker will be bringing the Word. Sis Torie Phillips and family will be singing. We will have a meal after.
