Monterey United Methodist Church TN Monterey UMC was founded June 2, 1895 and was the first church building in Monterey, TN. Worship is in this historic building.

The Mission of the Monterey United Methodist Church
is to be servants of God by responding to the needs
of the Monterey community in such a way
that everyone in Monterey knows the transforming love of Jesus. Our small but talented choir is led by Choir Director Frances Eldridge, who also leads a community choir, The Hilltop Chorale. We serve the community through various programs such as Backpac

k for Kids, The Cottage, which is a thrift store offering clothing and other goods at extremely low prices, and support our adopted school, Burks Middle School.All are welcome and we would love to have you visit.

Faith is being built—one little heart at a time! ❤️

Last Sunday, our children learned that church is more than a building. Through Bible lessons, creativity, teamwork, and lots of LEGO bricks, they discovered what it means to help one another, pray together, serve together, worship together, and grow together.

We are thankful for every child, family, and volunteer who is helping us create a place where children can know Jesus, ask questions, make friends, and discover that they are an important part of the Church today.

There is a place for your family at Monterey United Methodist Church!
