UPDATE:

Linda had complications after surgery on Tuesday where her liver and kidneys weren't getting enough blood, so they had to put in a balloon and then eventually take her back to surgery to put in a stronger temporary implant that would be powerful enough to pump blood out of her heart to her organs. The goal was that would do the work for her heart and give her heart time to heal then over the weekend reduce the power of the implant and have her heart take over where they could then remove the implant.
Thursday night there were more complications from that device and they had to make adjustments.
She was in sedation /not able to wake up since surgery Thursday afternoon.
Saturday they were able to wake her up and just took the breathing tube out! 🙌
She's talking and they started decreasing the power of that implant so see how her heart compensates... So far her vitals have stayed stable 👍👍 that a great sign 🙂
This surgery has a long recovery time and with Gods blessing no further complications
Thank you for your continued prayers - she definitely needs them 🙏

URGENT Prayer Request:

Linda Haapanen had Cardiac Bypass & Valve repair/replacement! surgery this past Tuesday. She is now having serious complications.

They had to put in a balloon pump to get her heart going...but it was not working so she has been taken back to surgery (3 hour surgery) to have a stronger pump "installed"! Her kidneys and bladder are not getting enough blood flow. Rich has asked us to reach out to prayer warriors!!!
