⛪️ Easter Worship Service ⛪️
Sunday, April 20 at 11:00 am

Not long ago we didn't think it was possible to have Easter worship in our church after the flood. But with God all things are possible. God has a way of surprising us with God's unlimited resources to help. Come worship with us this Sunday. Come and give thanks to God for God's love and abundant grace. Come and believe that the forces that threaten to undo us are no match for the power of God. Come and Worship!

"Jesus spoke of caring for those in need by saying; "I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me...Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." (Matthew 25:35-40) Jesus mentioned other examples of helping people in need and I believe he intended to show there can be many more gracious acts that when offered to people in need is the same as giving them to Him. Our church was flooded and in great need. Fortunately, donors with big hearts rushed to us in our time of need offering us a piano, fridge, stove and microwave, not to mention cleaning the church and financial gifts. We are indeed grateful to everyone who opened their hearts and rolled up their sleeves to work at getting our church back. We can't thank you enough! You are truly living examples of what Christ calls us all to do when people are in need. We pray that God will one day bless you in return for your amazing grace of blessings to us!

Something new! The church has been gifted a projector and screen to enhance our worship experience. As an example, select the link below to enjoy the Rich Mullins song, "If I Stand." Also, the season of Lent this year began on March 5, 2025 known as Ash Wednesday. It is a season to prepare us for Easter. We look forward to the joy of Resurrection Sunday. 🎡In preparation for the Monterey Homecoming Fair on Saturday, October 5th.

⛪️This Saturday is a great time help to spruce up our corner of town at 88 Worth Street! Your participation would help us not only prepare for the Fair, but also for our upcoming fall and winter activities. There are many ways to help with the indoors and the grounds.

🎥During the Fair on October 5th, the church will host a slide show of past Monterey fairs as well as a slide show of historic and more current church events and gatherings.

👀Let’s see what we can do this Saturday and prepare to welcome fairgoers to an inspiring visit!
