⬇️Sunday Morning Recap
Humanity’s greatest struggle is our desire to stay in control. We often want God to bless our plans without changing them, but true salvation and spiritual growth begin when we surrender our will to His.
Throughout Scripture, God worked powerfully through people who surrendered—Abraham surrendered Isaac, Peter surrendered his pride, and Jesus surrendered His own will to the Father. God can accomplish far more through our surrender than we can through our own efforts and control.
For some, surrender means letting go of pride. For others, it may mean releasing hurt, bitterness, addiction, fear, or past failures. The path may look different for each person, but it always begins when we recognize our need for God and place our trust in Him.
This truth applies to both believers and those who have never trusted Christ. Salvation begins where self-rule ends. Healing, restoration, and transformation happen when we stop carrying burdens that belong to God and place them in His hands.
Key Truth:
You cannot fully experience God’s healing and direction while holding tightly to what He is asking you to surrender.
Challenge:
What are you still trying to control that God is asking you to trust Him with today?
