Undoing Racism Team and Work of our Congregation will be Honored
November 15th at the Worship Service

Join us for a moving service that honors the historic work of our Undoing Racism Team, and allows us as a community to pivot toward a new chapter focused on racial justice.

Have you been a part of the team? Do you remember any events? Have you been touched by this work? Please join us for this service. Team Members present and past will be honored. There will also be a chance to share your memories and gratitude and an opportunity following the service to turn the page together as a congregation.

We have so much to celebrate and so much more good work to do.

Spread Joy and Kindness with Your Unwanted Treats! 🎃 Bring your leftover or unwanted Halloween candy to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair on Sunday, November 1st, by 10am. A collection bin will be waiting in the Hanley Welcome Center. Together, we'll fill small bags with love, decorated by our children and youth, and share them with our homeless neighbors, spreading joy and warmth. You can also donate boxes of raisins or snack-packs of nuts! If you can't wait, the bin will be available on Sunday, October 25th, or contact Rev. Anya at [email protected] to arrange an earlier drop-off. Let's come together to make a difference! ❤️

"Hope and Courage" — led by the Revs. Anya and Scott Sammler-Michael, senior co-ministers. Hope is an ontological need. Hope does not give us the power to transform reality all by itself. Alone, hope is escapism but hope plus courage makes transformation possible.

Our service will be held at 10am in our Sanctuary and live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook Live. Religious Education classes are held during the hour as well. Connection Cafe follows in Fletcher Hall. All are welcome!
