All month long, we’re celebrating literacy at First MDO! From exciting stories read by our amazing parents and staff to giggles, laughter, and yummy snacks after chapel, we’re helping our kiddos discover the joy of reading one story at a time. 🥰📖

And we’re saving one more special moment for the end of the month… our Book Character Parade! 🎃✨ We can’t wait to see our little readers bring their favorite characters to life!

Because at First MDO, learning is an adventure, stories spark imagination, and every day is a chance to make sweet memories.

Jesus never intended for you to accomplish His mission in your own strength. He gives you the message, the mission, and the power of His Spirit to carry it out.

You’re not sent alone. So stop waiting until you feel ready and start trusting the One who sends you.

It’s easy to gravitate toward people who look like us, think like us, and make us feel comfortable. But God’s heart extends to the people the world often ignores.

The question isn’t just, “Who is comfortable around us?” It’s, “Who needs to hear the good news of Jesus?”

🎁 A shoebox can carry more than a gift. It can carry hope.

This year, we’re partnering again with Operation Christmas Child to help share the love of Jesus with children around the world—and we’re setting a goal of 150 shoeboxes! ❤️

Each box is a simple gift packed with a child in mind, but it can open the door to something much bigger: the opportunity for a child to hear the Gospel and discover that they are loved by God.

150 boxes. 150 opportunities to share hope. 150 reminders that the Gospel goes far beyond our community.

📦 Pack a shoebox.
❤️ Pray for the child who will receive it.

A bathroom break turns into a few minutes of conversation, connection, and care—and this is exactly what we love about MDO. Our kids are known, loved, and cared for by people who genuinely enjoy being with them.

Your mission field isn't just somewhere across the world. It starts right where you live—in your family, neighborhood, workplace, school, and community.

Jesus has placed people in your life who need to hear the good news. You don't have to have every answer. You simply have to be willing to share the grace you've received.
