MercyGate Kids

Discovering God, Making Friends, Finding Purpose MercyGate Kids is an extension of MercyGate Church in Mont Belvieu, Texas.

We have two services on Sunday that coincide with adult services at 8:30 am and 10:30am. We hope to see your child at one of our services soon! Service Information for Preschool Parents: Pre-K children are signed into the system by a parent or legal guardian. Then, the parent/guardian walks the child to their classroom where they are also signed into the classroom upon arrival. While you are enjoy

ing service, your preschooler attends a short service with age appropriate worship, a memory verse, games, and puppets. When their service is finished, Pre-K kids go back to their small groups to do a craft, play games, and learn the lesson of the day. Don’t worry mom and dad—your child will have a blast! Should your child need you for some reason though, your child’s sticker-badge number will flash on the screen in the main sanctuary. If you miss it, one of our amazing volunteers will come get you to attend to your child’s needs. Service Information for School-Ager Parents: 1st-5th graders also check-in upon arrival and are placed in their small groups. In their small group settings, children connect with their small group leaders and other kids through games, activities, and stories. After their small group session, your child enjoys a large group service in the main MGK sanctuary. During service, children worship, play games, learn , hear a Bible story, and are quizzed on what they learn throughout the lesson. It is a high energy environment that relates to all ages involved!

Subject: 🎉 Kid’s Camp Starts Tomorrow – Get Ready!

Dear Parents,

We are just ONE day away from the start of Kid’s Camp, and our hearts are overflowing with excitement! We’ve been praying and preparing for an unforgettable week filled with fun, friendship, and faith-building experiences. We can’t wait to see how God moves in the lives of each child!

As we gear up for this amazing adventure, here are a few important reminders that were in your packet but wanna make sure to help you and your camper be ready:

📌 Camp Reminders:
Drop-off Time: 8:30am at the back of the church by the offices. Please be prompt as we will load up as soon as the bus arrives.

Pickup Time: July 26th at 3:30PM ETA. We will have student's start calling parents when we get 30-45 min away from the church, on our way back.

What to Bring Daily: Listed in your information packet.

Pray with Us: We encourage you to join us in praying for God to work in mighty ways throughout camp!

🎭 Theme Days – A reminder of what these day's and themes are as listed in your packet!
We love to have fun at Kid’s Camp, and our theme days are a great way to build excitement and team unity. Here’s what to wear each day:

Day 1 – Hawaiian Day: Bright florals, leis, and island vibes! 🌺

Day 2 – Team Spirit Day: We’re on the PURPLE team, so let’s go all out in purple from head to toe! Student's will be provided with a Team Purple Shirt.💜

Day 3 – Texas Day: Break out the Texas Swag, hats, and western gear – Yeehaw! 🤠

Day 4 – Neon Day: The brighter the better – let’s light it up for Jesus! 🌟

Most importantly, we’re excited for each child to grow in their faith and experience the joy of being part of God’s family. We believe this week will be filled with laughter, learning, and life-changing encounters with Jesus.

Thank you for entrusting us with your incredible kids. We are praying for a safe, fun, and Spirit-filled week!

We are just 2 weeks away from Kids Camps 2025!!! We are completely full with a total of 65 going!!!

This is such a powerful time in the lives of our kids where many are saved, baptized in Holy Spirit, and called into ministry.
