Hi ladies - it's Michelle! I wanted to let you know that Jessi Marsh, who came and spoke with us about Light of Life Mission is facing another possible cancer recurrence. They found a nodule on her lung and it has grown since her last scan. Jessi is going to have an MRI on her liver tomorrow to see if it is still clear and then she will meet with a surgeon about having the nodule removed. Please pray that the MRI tomorrow is clear and that the nodule is benign. Thanks so much!

On this first day of Women's History Month, we would like to introduce you to Annie Switzer who was a member of the first class at the Strawbridge Shrine in Maryland. This was the meeting place of the first Methodists in the New World. Robert Strawbridge formed the first Methodist class in America in about 1763. The fact that Ms. Switzer was an African-American and a slave did not stop her covenant group from welcoming her.
